This hotel has a lot of promise and could be so much more.. Pros: Pedro.c and Elvin at fit flops. Lots of choice in the buffets and the deserts and ice cream were really good. Plenty of sun loungers on the beach and round the pools. Al la carte restaurants really good. Beach was lovely, very soft white sand (did get some seaweed last couple of days but that's nature). Cons: the sunclub and adult only areas did not exist. Anyone could go anywhere and we had booked specifically for the fact it had adult only areas. (Were told this is just during the low season but we were not made aware) As lovely as the Al la cartes were it's hard to have a romantic meal (anniversary holiday) when people randomly walk in off the beach half drunk/naked through the restaurants to get to a bar. The hotel got very busy and loud at weekends with weekenders but would be good if you could keep at least 1 area quieter. Ques everywhere, rushing to book the Al la cartes on an app, banging doors, late night conversations in corridors etc. Pool water turning white swimwear green (pool by the beach). Dirty pools which got cleaned then they trimmed the grass round the pools and blew it into the pool!! Buffet food varied but almost cold unless you went to a cooking station, rude hosts and despite people.queing some.just walked straight in. Lucky to get a coffee by the time you had finished your breakfast. Lots of flies and mosquito but not sure what the hotel can really do. Also hotel next door being built/refurbed. Long story short(ish) the weekdays and al.la.carte food saved the holiday but would not return.

The hotel is clean and staff is very welcoming and always helpful. The beach is clean and our experience was made even better with the excellent service given by Juan B. throughout our stay. He always made sure we had drinks and whatever else we needed.

Carlos was an excellent waiter with great service! He always served us well and he was kind. Kaleidoscope Zoila, beach, drinks, food, the bar! Everything was good!

We stayed for 6 days and booked the Sun Club deal. The food was a bit mild for my taste, but still very good overall. I really liked that the desserts weren’t too sweet, and I absolutely loved the nachos and salsa. They were everywhere! Among all the restaurants, the food at Tierra was absolutely the best everything we ordered there was delicious. The beach was a little muddy with some algae, but still beautiful and enjoyable. The pools on the Sun Club side were never too crowded, so it was really relaxing to just hang out with a cocktail and some snacks all day. The spa was amazing and worth every penny. We did a massage package that included access to a private jacuzzi, pool, and sauna the massage itself was excellent. The Sun Club concierge staff were incredibly kind and helpful especially Jorge and Juan (and a few others whose names I can’t recall). They helped us with restaurant reservations and always greeted us with a smile. As for the downsides, the room felt a bit old the furniture looked dated, and the sofa and balcony weren’t very clean. I’m sure they would have cleaned it if I’d asked, but honestly, we were just too lazy to mention it. Also, one of the restaurant hosts (not the buffet) was quite rude, haha. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay with great service and lovely staff I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a chill, all-inclusive getaway.
