Marins Beach Club

From the moment we arrived (even at 2am via shuttle bus), Marins Beach Club Hotel looked smart, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a standard suite in Block 2, which was perfect for our needs. Having a separate living space and a balcony overlooking the pool. The kitchenette was a great bonus too, the fridge was especially useful, as we bought plenty of bottled water during our stay (around 12 large bottles!) and it kept everything perfectly chilled. We stayed for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning. There was a good variety of options, catering for everyone. Although we didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening, we were very tempted as the food looked great and prices seemed very reasonable. That said, after relaxing by the pool all day, we enjoyed heading into town to explore in the evenings. The location is ideal, close enough to the beach, bars, restaurants, and shops to easily walk everywhere, but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It strikes the perfect balance between convenience and a chilled atmosphere. The pool area and service were standout features. The bar staff work tirelessly and will even bring drinks to your sunbed if you wish, which really adds to the relaxing feel. Despite how popular it is, we never had an issue finding a sunbed, Balinese bed, or parasol. Due to the time of year, we might have just been lucky. The hotel itself is spotless. The cleaning and gardening teams clearly take great pride in their work, and it shows across the whole complex. This was our first adults-only holiday after years of all-inclusive family trips, and it was exactly what we needed. Just the two of us, completely able to unwind and switch off from home and work life. We would love to return next year. One small suggestion for improvement: it would be great to have traditional breakfast tea bags available for us Brits at breakfast!

We love this place this was on 3rd year going here. The staff are amazing,food is awesome the chef his food is something else. We went out and about a bit this year that's for other reviews. I will never stop going on about this hotel we always go at the start of the season and you take a risk with the weather as we found out in palma. The staff are really friendly it now feels like I'm staying with old friends. We are certainly looking into going for a fourth year The hotel does have washers and dryers and an ironing board downstairs that you can use for a small fee ( we didn't do any) .this is in a great location as well for shops,doctors dentists etc.

Please do not believe this an adult only hotel. Whilst we were at this hotel a large group of a girls football team were allowed to stay at the hotel. The hotel denied they were under 18 but when the coaches of the team were asked they confirmed the girls were aged 12- 15 years. They were causing havoc in the hotel and playing very loud music on their balconies and slamming doors very loudly from 6am in the morning. When we complained to reception they refused to move the football team and we had to move hotels. The breakfast was very disappointing and there was a poor selection of choice and it was the same every day. The fried eggs were like rubber.

This is an ok hotel. The breakfast isnt great and the choice is limited. I had a glass smashed on my table by one of the waiters. Worse thing of all was this hotel claims to be an adult only hotel but allowed a large group of 12 - 15 year olds into the hotel . The hotel wouldn't admit liability but the group organiser confirmed the age of the group. This group were slamming doors from 6am, playing loud music on their balconies and running around the hotel. So disappointed

Very impressed with the hotel and especially the staff. Everyone from reception, to the restaurant & bar team to the cleaners were polite, friendly and helpful. In particular the restaurant team were excellent with my gluten free diet. Every morning they brought out gluten free bread and cornflakes for me and the chef or restaurant manager would explain what was safe for me to eat. The food was excellent with a huge amount of choice for both breakfast and dinner, even allowing for my diet. It is a buffet style restaurant so there is a risk of cross contamination but I didn't have any issues - the food is grouped into different areas, some cooked freshly in front of you, so with a little care it's easy enough to manage. One tip - the hotel will open the restaurant for you if you're departing before normal breakfast service begins, just let them know in advance. We stayed in a Superior Suite which was very comfortable. Spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, good air conditioning. The pool area is attractively landscaped, unlike some of the other hotels in the area which looked quite bland in comparison, whilst the cocktails were superb and the staff on hand to take your order. There were plenty of sun loungers and Balinese beds too. The indoor pool was nice when it got a little chilly in the afternoon. Parking for the hotel is on street only, but there is plenty and only once did I have to park one street away. I really can't find any fault with the hotel. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, and I would happily visit again. Cala Millor itself isn't the prettiest resort, but it's not terrible either. There's a nice walk to the south east out to Castell de la Punta de n'Amer, and the beach to the south at Sa Coma is prettier than Cala Millor, especially if you go for an early morning swim. If you have a car there is plenty to do in the local area or the hotel have a few trips they can arrange - just ask at reception.
