Sol Tropikal Durres

Dear Sol Tropikal Durrës, I would like to express my sincere thanks for your wonderful hospitality and for making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived at the airport. I truly appreciated the taxi arrangement — being greeted with a sign bearing my name immediately reassured me that I was in good hands. I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Dorjana. She arranged everything for me with such care — the taxi, early check‑in, the room change — and even helped me carry my clothes to the new room. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay at Sol Tropikal was comfortable, enjoyable, and truly memorable. It has been a very difficult year for me, and your empathy and warmth made a meaningful difference. The only areas where I feel some improvement could be helpful are the food, which would benefit from being served hotter, and the view from rooms overlooking the laundry area, as it is not the most pleasant outlook. All I have to say is that the stuff was very friendly and helpful plus the food was really nice!

Honestly one of my favourite holidays ever the staff were so kind and helpful and everyone is so polite, my room was so perfectly sized and my balcony was huge. The entertainment is incredible and the pool is insane and the location is right next to the beach so it was perfect. The hygiene was great honestly I have no complaints

Fantastic hotel and lovely staff. We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Lovely hotel but unfortunately wrongly advertised by Love Holidays. When we stayed here to it was not their season so only 1 pool was open, 1 buffet restaurant and 2 bars. Absolutely not hotel’s fault but we thought we had paid far too much for the hotel considering we did not have any à la carte restaurants available, no beach bar and only 1 pool. There was an Italian restaurant but you had to pay to use it and as we had already paid a lot didn’t feel it was fair we were being charged again. Although the food was cooked well everything was cold and I don’t mean warm it was cold. The staff definitely make this hotel all very friendly especially the 2 girls on reception Dorjana and Blerina they always had time for a conversation and we really had a good laugh with these girls, a real credit to hotel.

Everything was amazing, from the location to the staff and the food, I had an amazing experience in Sol Tropikal and I will come back for sure. The staff at the restaurants were very nice and helpful, everything was really clean and precise, I had an amazing culinary experience, I ordered a seafood linguine in their Italian restaurant and was delicious, the food arrived quickly and warm and the white wine fresh at the right time. I recommend this hotel if you want to have a cosy holiday and enjoy the Albanian hospitality, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with a nice view over the Adriatic Sea, the staff makes you to feel special and welcome at all times.
