Since Hotel Katamare opened, we have returned every single year. It has truly become our home by the sea. The rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, and the hotel's location right next to the beach is simply perfect. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is just a few steps away. What really makes Katamare special, however, is its people. From the friendly reception team to the restaurant staff, everyone makes you feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you goes to our favorite waiters, Elid and Dušan, whose kindness, professionalism, and warm attitude make every meal even more enjoyable. We would also like to recognize the housekeeping team, who keep the rooms spotless every day and always greet guests with a smile and a kind word. The hotel's private beach, which has been expanded this year, is beautifully organized, spacious, and very well maintained. We would especially like to thank Petar, who takes exceptional care of both the beach and the guests. His dedication, attention to detail, and genuine desire to make sure everyone enjoys their time make a real difference. Hotel Katamare is much more than a beautiful hotel—it is a place where you feel welcomed, appreciated, and happy to return. We are already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel itself is nice, clean, and well located, which makes this review disappointing to write. Late in the evening, I contacted reception with a very normal guest request — asking for an extra blanket. I was first told that housekeeping had already left and that I should call again in the morning. When I insisted that an extra blanket at night is a basic guest need and asked whether reception could assist, the response I received was: “I’m reception, not housekeeping.” What disappointed me was not the blanket itself, but the complete lack of ownership, willingness to help, and service-oriented communication. The following morning, housekeeping also disturbed the room very early due to a room mix-up. The staff member later apologized, which I appreciated. However, after these incidents, I specifically asked reception if the manager could speak with me before my departure. Nobody followed up, nobody contacted me, and nobody even asked what had happened. Mistakes happen in every hotel. But professionalism is reflected in how staff communicate with guests and handle simple problems. Unfortunately, that part of the experience was very disappointing.

What a trip! Our Suit was truly 10/10 we stayed in 701 with its own pool and amazing sea few! From start to finish we were made super welcome 😊 Our package was B&B as we like to eat out, within a 5/10 min walk there was a bundle of lovely places to eat. Airport was a little further than expected but that’s our error for not checking better beforehand. There is loads of building work around the hotel but this did not affect us as my Dad is in the industry so found it very Intresting the daily antics! I would highly recommend for a long weekend with friends or family. Going to Budva Old Town is a must! We are there one even in and the food and people was lovely! Thank you team for making our trip special 😊
