The position of the hotel is perfect in the centr of the village. Five steps from the bootroom and you are at the bottom of the slope just five metres from the massive and very efficient Jandri cable car. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The dining room is very pleasantly set out. Breakfast has everything you might want and is very good quality. Dinner is also good quality. Both meals are buffet style. There is plenty of food at dinner but because many people load their plates with a portion of every meat and fish on offer and more than one dessert, some things run out. Therefore its advisable to arrive early for dinner. This hotel would also be a fabulous base for a summer walking holiday too. There is a vey helpful tourist info office opposite the hotel and the bus stops in front of the hotel.

Great hotel, super friendly staff, superb cuisine, on the slopes and the Jandri station, in the heart of the village. Exceeds 3*. We will come back.

Arrived on 20th December, our welcome from reception was lovely, the hotel was warm, cosy and welcoming. Our room was a little small but served its purpose, it was clean plenty of hot water and cleaned every day. Ski lockers are perfect, the location is close to the Jandri cable car which is a great addition to L2A. Food was a little hit and miss, I’m guessing very traditional French which I personally enjoyed but wouldn’t be for everyone. Our Christmas Eve gala dinner was lovely, so much effort went into it by the staff. An excellent dinner time after a nice day on the hills. Overall I would recommend this hotel, the positives outweighed the negatives. Thank you to all the staff for making our Xmas stay really nice. PS: I love the chocolates on reception, sorry for stealing handfuls every day 👍

We are a family with 3 kids ranging from 7-17 and spent Xmas week at this hotel. It was excellent from start to finish: the rooms are clean and spacious with shower gel, coffee and are really comfy. The food was outstanding; varied and delicious. Xmas eve gala meal was the best; delicious food, wine and Moët!! The staff were also lovely. We stayed over the Christmas period as a family and were left extremely disappointed with the hotel. The hotel looks modern and the rooms were clean, and tidy. Its location is in a perfect place, and right next to the ski lift right to the top and everything is in walking distance. However, there was also a constant problem with dog mess outside the main entrance, which was never properly dealt with and seemed to get spread around day after day. Our room overlooked the ice-skating rink, which stayed open late into the evening. The noise and intense lighting made sleep almost impossible, and no consideration seemed to be given to guests wanting a quiet night. We booked half board with sit-down meals, only to be told at the last minute it had been changed to a buffet. The food was genuinely awful. The choices were poorly thought out, nothing went together, and much of it was undercooked or cold. Options were only labelled in French or not at all. After long days skiing, proper food is essential to regain energy, yet this was completely lacking. One evening I was served blue steak that was cold inside, and on another night I had cold pasta with a lukewarm cheese sauce, which resulted in me being violently ill a few hours later. Resulting in being extremely cautious of all food served. The restaurant itself is cramped and uncomfortable, with tables far too close together, making every meal feel stressful and chaotic. Staff were overly aggressive with clearing tables, repeatedly taking plates while they were still being used. Drinks were supposedly included, yet only water or wine were offered. When I brought my own drink to dinner because I wanted a change, I was spoken to and told to drink water or wine, which felt petty and unprofessional. Although the Christmas Day meal was served to the table and was nicely decorated, the buffet for starters and additional was heavily seafood-based, the main meal was very limited alternatives and tiny portions. To make matters worse, a member of staff spoke to me in a patronising and disrespectful manner, which completely ruined the evening. Breakfast was exactly the same every day, with greasy, undercooked bacon, and the coffee machine was constantly breaking, resulting in long queues just to get a hot drink. The downstairs bar was dull, lifeless, and thoroughly uninviting, certainly not somewhere you’d want to spend time. Overall, this hotel seriously underdelivered. Poor food, lack of organisation, noise issues, and rude service completely overshadow the few positives. We would not return, and it certainly wasn’t the standard you’d expect for a Christmas family ski holiday.
