Club Med has always been my go-to for ski trips, mainly because ski lessons, lift passes, and the bar tab are all included. This time, however, I decided to try Club MMV Les Arolles, as my two sons joined me and we didn’t really need ski instruction or an all-inclusive bar. The price difference was significant—less than half the cost of Club Med—which made it an easy decision to try something new. The room was compact, with three single beds, basic storage for two people plus a desk, a small bathroom, and a separate toilet. It was a tight fit, but given that we spent very little time in the room, it was perfectly acceptable. Daily servicing helped keep things comfortable. MMV Les Arolles is ideally located, offering true ski-in/ski-out access directly to the ski room and lockers, which is a major plus after a long day on the slopes. The hotel itself is compact but well laid out. What impressed me most was the large dining area and the excellent variety and quality of the buffet meals. The staff were consistently friendly, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Overall, MMV Les Arolles exceeded my expectations and offered great value for money. I would definitely book with MMV again, especially when travelling with family and not needing the full all-inclusive Club Med experience.
Good location, good restaurant Rooms are small and beds are too small. Typical club hotel, not a lot atmosphere
Excellent staff, professional, friendly and helpful. Personally the food was lovely with a good variety. Rooms was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the mountains. Coming back for 10 days in year 2028 with the family.
Infrastructure is ok but the restaurant is terrible. Very little choice, cheap food. Didn’t have a piece of correct meat during the week. Service is OK but not enough personnel, long waiting at the bar and restaurant.
Hotel has improved in terms of its performance since last year, in my opinion. Its cleaner and warmer than last year. The restaurant turned out some fantastic lunch menus/selections, dinner was a bit too focused on fish on some days. Breakfast was good, the only issue being that certain items ran out quickly and nobody seemed to be tasked with monitoring this and replenishing them. If you asked somebody they were always very helpful. My wife and I didn't sleep very well all week, not sure why, it may just have been us? A kettle and mugs in the bedrooms would be a helpful addition.
