Hotel Acapulco

Byli jsme v hotelu Acapulco jeden týden, když jsme jeli na San Marino MotoGP. Našli jsme hotel velmi pěkný a čistý as krásným bazénem. Hotel je v rodinném vlastnictví a veškerý personál byl přátelský a vstřícný a všechny služby byly velmi dobré. Hotel je na velmi výhodném místě pro MotoGP, protože kyvadlová doprava na závodiště Misano Racetrack odjíždí z parkoviště Aquatico, které je méně než 5 minut chůze od hotelu. Ve čtvrtek před závodem jezdil také bezplatný autobus do Tavullie, který také opustil autobusovou zastávku v těsné blízkosti hotelu. Důrazně doporučujeme tento hotel pro kohokoli, kdo chce jít na San Marino Motogp, ale také si být jistý, že by to byla velmi dobrá základna pro dovolenou prozkoumávající oblast kolem San Marino a Rimini.

Our second attempt to get into this hotel was successful. We tried to get into this hotel earlier in 2022, but it was fully booked. We then went to our favorite 4-star hotel in Cattolica and were very pleased. But this time, I simply couldn't physically go to our favorite hotel due to temporary health issues. The food there is delicious and plentiful, and I couldn't eat much. So, as a compromise, we chose this hotel because it is advertised as a 3.5-star hotel in every possible online source, and even as a 4-star hotel here on TA. I must say that all of this turned out to be untrue. The hotel is only rated 3 stars, and there is a sign near the entrance stating this. And by all other parameters, the hotel is only worthy of a 3-star rating. The hotel building is somewhat more modern than other 3-star hotels, and the rooms are more spacious. We got a nearly deluxe room at the end closest to the sea, with a balcony on both sides. The nearby canal, filled with seawater, also gave the room a wonderful sea scent, something you don't find even in beach hotels. But that's where the hotel's advantages end. Everything the travel agency's catalog promised—air conditioning in the restaurant and weekly evenings at the pool bar with live music—was all "off-season" in June. While other hotels had live music playing, some even had it every day for dinner. We had to eat on the veranda, outside, which isn't always ideal, as the daytime wind blew very coolly throughout June, with temperatures reaching 30 degrees Celsius. Despite the presence of tourists from France, not just Italy and Germany, the restaurant staff spoke only Italian, and only one girl spoke English with difficulty. By the end of the week, I could understand everything they said Italian. 😉 The food also left much to be desired. Along with some Italian delicacies, there might be fast food, some dishes from the day before. The peasant-style potatoes are always "glassy," and eggs that you have to boil yourself are nonsense; thank goodness there was also an omelet. The hotel is far from all the sights; there's no direct access to Via Dante, the main promenade of the Cattolica, so you have to go around. The sea, as promised, is 200 meters away, which is good. Upon checkout, we discovered that someone had added several cocktails to our room. The misunderstanding was quickly cleared up thanks to the conscientious reception staff, but, as they say, it left a bad taste. That's my objective description of the hotel. And it's up to each person to decide whether the hotel suits them or not.😊

Lovely hotel with friendly staff,made to feel very welcome and the staff are very helpful with information and even went that extra mile to allow us to have breakfast early on the morning of the MotoGP race day as we neede to leave early, would definitely stay here again. The location is superb as it is in the quieter area of town but close enough to eating out and the beach is just a short walk away, great location for the MotoGP track.

It was a beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. Everything was very clean with a nice balcony view. We got nothing too short, even eating in the hotel restaurant was very tasty. And the staff was super friendly.

We've been to Acapulco Hotel on the first week of July 2013; it was great : a very clean hotel, great people, brilliant food - the buffet was great every day and especially the chef ( probably he cooks with a lot of passion) - i think is great think to cook every day different types of food. The room was great and also the pool; the beach is close to the hotel. We will come again to Acapulco for sure !
