First, there is no way this is a four star hotel. Either these hotels aren't audited properly, or the star systems is broken in Italy. The good: The location is great, along the main strip I suppose, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and other hotels. Right opposite the beach which was perfect. The lobby and reception areas are nice, they do give a decent hotel vibe. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and allowed us to hold luggage as we were super early, and had to wait a few hours after our stay due to a late flight back. The balcony and Seaview was perfect. The bad: The hotel room was an ok size, but it was dated. This is an Italian problem which we have found throughout the country. It was dusty and not cleaned properly. This was evident with dirt under the bed, dust on the shelf behind the bed, and the fact room service seldom replaced toilet rolls to the point where we had none and had to take a roll from the toilets near the restaurant. The hotel claims to have sound proofed rooms, this is incorrect. There isn't a pool or gym as expected by the images and amenities listed on TripAdvisor. Neither mattered due to the beach and outdoor gym equipment along the seafront. But this is still false advertising. So the room. The bed was rock hard, not great if you need to sleep. We had to ensure we were tired before going to bed to ensure we slept. No curtains and the shutter allows in too much light, not ideal when your room is facing the sunrise. The bathroom wasn't great. The baths apparently have a spa facility, it didn't work. The shower glass curtain was broken and not fit for purpose, it allowed the floor to flood after a shower. Air conditioning didn't work either. The whole room needed a lot of work. Breakfast wasn't great either. The eggs looked like they had a date with Triggers paint, (you know if you know). The bacon and sausages (hotdogs) were weird. It was just a carb overload with cake, croissants, bread, and dried cereal. The fruit selection was poor and the salad and cold meat selection wasn't great.

The location near the beach is good, and the breakfast is OK, but the rest is quite poor. They promote it as a 4-star hotel, but it would be more honest and accurate to qualify it as a 2-star (or less). The room was narrow, the shower box difficult to fit in. The atmosphere is OK, with a beach view from the (narrow) balcony, but noisy at night on weekends as there are some pubs and restaurants nearby. Overall, I feel it was a bit overpriced for an oldish hotel with no facilities, no swimming pool, and no gym. If you drive a car, prepare to pay 15-20 euros per day (depending on the season) for one of the few parking lots they have.

I have nothing really positive or constructive to say about this hotel, other than it was on the beach and convenient for a one night stay, albeit a noisy one. I certainly wouldn’t be inclined to stay any longer. I have no idea how this place has four stars - it’s a two star establishment, at best. No pool, no fitness room, no restaurant open in the evening. Rooms have dated furniture, carpets in the hallways are frayed, decor looks generally tired and staff appear not to care too much about customer service. I didn’t partake of breakfast since I frankly couldn’t be bothered with it. Hardly commendable in any regard and not recommended on this particular occasion.
