The experience had its ups and downs....probably more downs than ups. I've been visiting Folgarida for over a decade now, (summers but mostly during the ski season). In the past we were host by a family-run hotel nearby that has recently changed property. We expected a warm welcome, like the one normally offered by the people from Trentino, but this is more of a business/seaside hotel than a “mountain hotel.” Negative points: common areas very very cold - very poor food similar to that served in a cafeteria most of the time served cold- Trentino food not received. The typical Trentino dessert strudel was probably not so genuine. Spa area very confused, you can get in once a stay only otherwise you need to pay a surcharge of EUR 35. each time. Underground parking EUR 20.- per night, similar to London tariff than a place in the mountain. Soundproofing rooms virtually non-existent, you can hear everything that happens outside also the flash of your neighbour. Wood commonly found in Trentino, in this case you will find a prefinished cheap wood. Positive aspects: the location very closed to Folgarida ski station, friendly and helpful staff, even if they appear to be inexperienced and not from Trentino for sure...they did not even know on those days the Ski World Cup was held (event of the year in Trentino). Common area and games well thought out, even if very very cold! I definitely wouldn't go back

This hotel is definitely worth recommending, and we spent a wonderful week there. It's perfectly located, less than 100 meters from the Folgarida 1 cable car. Our room had a picturesque view, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our dog was also well-received. It was certainly better than good, but not perfect. We knew the hotel had been taken over by a new owner and was slowly renovating it. This was also noticeable in the reasonable price. Much had already been done, but some other things probably needed more time. Therefore, it was clear that the room doors needed replacing and soundproofing, and the plumbing needed a major overhaul. In the top-floor room we occupied (I think it was a premium room), the bathroom odors were unpleasant and quite bothersome, the water wasn't always hot, and unfortunately, it rarely ran at the right pressure. This definitely needs urgent repair; it could have been annoying, but we didn't let it disrupt our stay. The spa was quite appealing, relatively modest but pleasant. The pool was similar, but if anyone was put off by the water in the bathroom and planned to use the shower by the pool and spa, be warned: the water was exceptionally icy. The pool was only slightly warmer. In our opinion, certain minor issues shouldn't be allowed in a hotel, and they're not justified by the organizational changes. For us, cold scrambled eggs for breakfast are like pizza with ketchup for Italians. Couldn't a warmer designed to keep food warm for several dozen minutes have been more efficient? And vegetables? Don't Italians eat them? Small lettuce leaves in a small bowl for breakfast and dinner, and a slice of tomato only for dinner, didn't make a positive impression. Furthermore, the hotel garage light, activated by movement, can't stay on for more than 30 seconds? Just enough to allow unpacking and packing, including the box, with some visibility. The hotel should improve this. In summary, despite the aforementioned shortcomings, you can have a pleasant stay at the hotel. Surely, in the near future, the hotel will address these shortcomings and live up to its claimed four-star rating.

The hotel is very well located for skiing. It has a good pool but the changing rooms have poor privacy. Rooms are clean but there is a major issue regarding the plumbing. Smells in the bathroom were so bad that after persistent complaining we were eventually offered others rooms that only became available for the last two days of our stay. The hotel manager on visiting our rooms denied any odour stating it was just our family. He didn't accept comments on the Internet supported our comments. In conversation with guests on our floor who were from other countries, they complained of the really bad smells in their bathrooms. Funny that a receptionist confirmed our comments as accurate and apologised. I would recommend you do not use this hotel if you don't want to suffer the same. Crystal you have a lot to answer!

We had a comfortable stay overall, with a few areas that could be improved—especially the wellness/pool experience. Location: Excellent for skiing—very close to the Folgarida cable car. There’s also ski rental and a small supermarket nearby. Dining and evening entertainment options around the hotel are limited, but we never went hungry. Staff & service: Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar team was also great—nice atmosphere and consistently good communication. The only negative was in the breakfast area: one manager/supervisor came across as suspicious toward us and was quite rude when we asked for something. Fees : Parking is available for an extra fee - 20 Eur/day. Rooms: Clean and spacious. As a family of three we received two rooms and a large bathroom, with plenty of space for luggage. There was a slight odor in the bathroom, but it didn’t really affect our stay. The room was very warm (even hot at times). Food & bar: The lobby bar is a nice place to spend the evening. Snacks were included but fairly simple. Breakfast was good with a solid variety. Kids club: Our child didn’t find much of interest, so we didn’t spend time there. Pool & wellness: This was the weakest part of our stay. We had to reserve a specific time slot for the pool/sauna, which reduced flexibility. The pool and sauna areas are separated, and children are not allowed in the sauna area—so families may need to split parents between pool supervision and sauna. Also, being asked to leave immediately when the hour ended (even in the middle of a session) felt uncomfortable; a small grace period or a calmer “wrap-up” approach would make the experience much more relaxing.

I came here on a skiing holiday with friends Compared to the 2No previous hotels I’ve stayed at in Sallbach and Cervignia, the Armon Greenblu is by far the most opulent I’ve stayed at with spa facilities for my partner to use What makes this hotel : The staff From Davide, Giada and Angela on reception to Antonio, Gianfranco, Francesco, Mateo, Luca, Lorena and Andrea the waiters who were absolutely amazing Cosimo and Roberta in the bar ran the operation like a Swiss watch and never seemed to stop …. They worked effortlessly Then we move into Lara the 2nd in charge and Finally Angelo the “capo “ I don’t normally write reviews but feel compelled to do so as they genuinely go above and beyond their duties and NOTHING was too much trouble My friend had his ski boots taken from the boot room by mistake, and Angelo the mgr arranged (Free of charge) for a rental of boots from the nearby store … Amazing service If there was one small drawback it was on a couple of evenings we didn’t have the palette for the evening food although if necessary there was plenty of alternatives (fresh, meats, soup , pasta etc etc ) that we could have consumed and Antonio did mention that we could always have chicken breast fillet and fries if required … The staff really did want to accommodate our needs and we all felt that we were looked after The breakfast was more than adequate and there was only a couple of evenings that we ate out albeit as previously mentioned this could have been avoided Compared to other half board hotel skiing packages, all members of our party were extremely happy with this hotel; and compared to last years holiday in Austria we ate out 5-days out of 7 as quite simply the food at our resort was disappointing I’ve never heard of the Armon Greenblu Hotel chain before, however, after speaking with Davide, I believe there are 14 other hotel resorts in the south of Italy that I would definitely consider visiting due to my great experience here in Folgarida The hotel was clean and modern, the bedroom was well designed and in great condition , and Overall we had a great stay … I would definitely consider this chain of hotels
