Grand Hotel Astoria

Velmi pěkný hotel s výbornou dostupností jak na léto, tak i na hory v zimní dovolené (střediska Folgaria a Lavarone jsou kousek). Pokoje jsou staršího data, ale vše funkční a v pořádku. Jídlo a servis neměly chybu a byly vynikající! Já mohu jen doporučit a určitě se zase někdy vrátím.

Pěkný historický hotel nad jezerem. Pokoje by se daly modernizovat, jsou trochu ošuntělé, ale byly čisté a příjemné. Moč chválíme polopenzí, výběr z několika jídel, navíc velký výběr zeleniny,ovoce, dezertů i domácí zmrzliny. Velice ochotně nám personál pomohl s dceřinou bezlepkovou dietou. Dále možnost využití venkovního bazénu, což ocenily hlavně děti.

Aristokratický hotel, na recepci velmi příjemný starší pán, který nám vždy ve všem vyhověl. Jídlo bylo luxusní, výborné a také veliké porce, které člověk nemohl sníst.. Pokoje velké, vždy perfektně uklizené. Wellness zóna by potřebovala trochu víc péče a trochu opravit. V hotelu byla i slušná posilovna a kurt na squash, takže když nebylo počasí na lyžování, tak se člověk nenudil..

As every year, together with friends we went skiing to the charming Lavarone and chose the Grand Astoria hotel as the place to stay. We spent a wonderful time there. The hotel provided rest after visiting the slopes in spacious rooms, and evening relaxation in the zone with swimming pool and jacuzzi. Grand Hotel Astoria offered very tasty meals often associated with regional cuisine. I recommend this hotel with my traveling companions. For sure this year I will also use their hospitality.

We stayed for a week as the location was perfect for exploring the local area and going walking - we had a hire car. We were met by Vera on Reception who was excellent - extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our pre-booked room with a balcony was upgrade to a Superior Room with a Balcony overlooking the lake; the balcony was the biggest one on the first floor. The staff were excellent; no matter who they were, nothing was too much trouble; they were always friendly, pleasant and helpful. The food was good; local style fare with a huge salad bar and hot dishes prior to starting on your first course. The decor is in keeping with the original style of the hotel so it has a turn of the century (19th to 20th) feel about it. The indoor swimming pool was great to use. Plenty of room on the terraces although we sat on our balcony so didn't use them. Be aware that local bus timetables are reduced in September.
