Just returned home from the holiday with my 2 kids. The location is lovely, hotel looks decent from the outside and we hoped it would be as expected for 4* hotel level but we got very disappointed!!! On arrival, we were told our room isn't ready yet and we can go to eat first, then we can get the room. We arrived 2.45 and room supposed to be ready at 3 o'clock. We came back after having some food at 3.20 to be told our room isn't ready and were told to wait. We waited another 15 minutes and my kids were very tired so I asked if we can get a room ASAP. We were told that our room isn't ready but she can offer different one for us. We got into room to find it filthy and I refused to stay there. The receptionist was very rude and spoke Spanish to her colleagues about me in front of me. Little did she know, that I understand Spanish. She was speaking about me in a disrespectful manner. Gave me keys to our original room at now nearly 4 o'clock and room was absolutely filthy. Upon my complaint, receptionist said it's all same and I won't get anything better so to suck it up. I asked for my room to be cleaned properly. It wasn't. And I complained to tui on our first day and since receptionists were made aware of this, they were even more nasty. Made me wait for the beach transfer over an hour, letting other guests go in front, despite me booking it for 11, I got the taxi at 12.10! When I asked for someone to bring blanket, I waited 2 days for it... When I needed shower gel or towels, again waiting for ages. Hardly anyone came to our room to take trash or change towels. Very poor hotel hygiene wise. Flies all over the pool due to spillages that nobody cleans. Broken glass by the pool was left for 2 days. My son nearly cut his foot, we told staff but nobody cleaned until next day. Food very average and every day the same thing over and over. Fair enough if it would be tasty... It wasn't! Staff in restaurant very rude as well with a few exceptions. Maria was lovely, she was working at the bar and reception and was friendly and polite and 2 other bar staff were nice but didn't get their names. I never complain about things, but I work my butt off to be able to go away for a well deserved break and this break gave me so much stress, I'm actually glad to be home. The ONLY POSITIVES were the lovely entertainment staff!!! A special thank you to Alessandro, Ruby, Elena and Juliett for making our stay at least a bit more enjoyable, you guys went above and beyond with what you've had to make it better for us, I'm grateful. Alessandro is a super cool guy who's great at making kids happy and made the best cocktail masterclass for adults, i really enjoyed that, and thank you for pulling me to dance 😘💃 Elena was an absolute star dancer and made me want to dance even more, her moves were fire!!! The hotel will be lost without you as you moved now to work elsewhere (good on you girl!!!) And also Ruby and Juliett, you both always came by to check in on us and made sure we are having a good time, you ladies are amazing! If not for the great entertainment team, our holiday would have been very miserable.

We are currently staying at Hotel LIVVO Jandía Golf and have been here for 10 days so far as a family, with a few days still to go. There are definitely some positives—the entertainment team are really good and make a big effort every day and evening, which has been great for both adults and kids. The pools are also nice and a good size, and the drinks are what you’d expect from an all-inclusive. The location is fairly convenient too, with around a 10-minute taxi to the beach and main town. However, there are also a few areas that have been disappointing. Our beds haven’t been changed at all during the 10 days we’ve been here so far, which isn’t what we expected. The food is okay but quite repetitive and gets boring after a few days. There are no parasols around the pool, which makes it difficult to find shade. Cleanliness in general could be improved, and we’ve found some of the restaurant staff to be quite rude at times. Overall, we are still enjoying parts of the holiday, but there are definitely some improvements that could make a big difference to the experience.

Very disappointing stay at Hotel LIVVO Jandía Golf—well below what you’d expect from a 3★+ hotel. The biggest issue was cleanliness. There were insects beetles & mosquitoes throughout the stay (including in our room on arrival), and large numbers of flies around the pool, food & everywhere actually! Food, spillages and cups were often left overnight, and areas like the pool toilets had no hand wash, a broken dryer, and dead insects left for days. Cleaning clearly wasn’t being done properly. The hotel is also seriously understaffed, which shows everywhere—30+ minute waits for drinks, queues for coffee with only 1 of 4 machines working, and not enough seating in the restaurant (people bringing chairs in from outside and queuing for tables). The all-inclusive offering is misleading. A one-drink token system (not advertised), poor drink service, and limited availability. Pool slides didn’t open until 11, closed between 1–2pm, and only one ran at a time—none of this was made clear before booking. We raised issues multiple times during the stay. Staff were polite but nothing was resolved, poor from Jet2 also. Some staff worked very hard, but they were clearly overwhelmed. Overall, poor hygiene, poor service, and poor management. Would not return.
