Hotel LIVVO Jandia Golf

Just returned from a great 2 weeks at this hotel, 2 hour coach transfer each way one hour went with pick ups and drop offs, fast friendly check in you choose when you want the rooms cleaned and what time you wanted to go for dinner each day 6.30/7.30 or 8.30 pm, and was told we could change if if we wanted to, its a good idea really because the restaurant is not overcrowded all at once then like the breakfast was at times, we were in block one by reception and had a lovely peaceful view of the golf course and limited sea view, the room was clean and comfortable with a huge tv, small fridge and kettle, 2 mugs and tea and coffee restocked once used, we had a walk in shower which we requested before we arrived, safe was free to use, wifi worked good all over the complex most of the time, air con worked good too, block 2 has golf and pool views, block 3 and 4 were across and higher up with sea and golf views, i took my own stanley cup for self serve soft drinks and water and my own mug for coffee in the self serve machine or i would have had to drink it out of the reusable plastic tumbler you get when you give your token in otherwise, good choice of drinks loved the vodka slush, bar opens 11am till 11pm, sports bar upstairs by reception opens 7pm til 11pm, drinks in glasses up there but not a lot of seating area, cups not needed in restaurant as they had small glasses and cups and saucers, breakfast was a good choice omlettes made to order, dinner and lunch not so good, we have been away loads of times and never complain but the food was cheap quality and not much choice at all, we ate from the snack bar by the pool bar in the day which was better and had chips, nachos, freshly cooked burgers/hot dogs. onion rings and chicken nuggets on occasions, we booked twice to go in the Italian restaurant do it as soon as you arrive as it gets booked up quick, it was a change same type of food as the main restaurant really, the pool didnt open until 10am and we had finished breakfast by 9.30 so we had to wait for it to be unlocked there was not a major rush for sunbeds when we were there only on the weekend when all the Spanish turned up, we just waited eager each day for it to open, pools are lovely and cleaned each day, slides were operating one at a time, entertainment throughout the day, and until the night with the mini disco first then entertainment, quizzes, bingo, water polo, boules, darts etc during the day, we booked to go to the beach one day either 10 or 11 am to go down and 5 pm to come back, loads had booked the same time so they said, they should have some kind of ticket system to show who has booked as everyone was trying to get on the same time but they did send more minibuses so that everyone got there the same for on the return, the beach is beautiful and there's lots of shops there too, if you go to the end of the beach to the right about a 10 minute walk you come to Morro Jable which is worth a visit, If you walk down to the beach and shops it takes about half hour down the path besides the golf course, down hill the uphill on return, we only paid £600 each for 2 weeks in this hotel in June which was brilliant for the canaries that time of the year, the staff at the hotel are really friendly, we really enjoyed our 2 week stay here and would recommend this hotel and return here again, weather was beautiful every day and still really mild at night to sit out, flies were a big nuisance and were biting or stinging us too so make sure you take plenty of strong insect repellent with you, we got dropped and picked up around the corner of the hotel with jet2 its only a 2 min walk some would drop you off by the door all depends. There was plenty of shaded canopys by the pool area and they were putting more up when we were there, there is a breeze at times but its lovely.

Hotel is decent with good staff. Taxi service to the beach is a joke. The hotel couldn't organise this my poorly if they tried.

Fantastic resort.This hotel is out of the way and a bit of a walk to the beach and shops (which we liked) but the hotel provide a free taxi and if you want to come and go as you please a taxi costs €7 each way. The room we stayed in 2226 was modern with a pool view and got the sun on the balcony later on in the afternoon and was cleaned everyday and was spotless. The food was varied and we always found something we liked each day and the staff each and every one of them were friendly,helpful and always willing to help with a smile. I chose this hotel as I’m a golfer and the course has a fantastic layout and although the greens do need some work it was a very enjoyable course to play and I had the place to myself most days. As a guest you get reduced green fees and a round was €48 with a buggy being €35.The hotel and course has recently been taken over and you can see money is now being invested in the place. On the whole we could not fault this resort and it will be our new go to for a relaxing holiday.

I don't write on theses sites and as I work in hotels. I know people exaggerate the bedroom is a good size and a good shower. The pool is very good but doesn't open till 10am and closes 6pm. The food is not good with very little choice. And is just warm if it was not for the snack bar which was ok We were in an out the restaurant in about 15 minutes. Its a shame it could be a nice hotel we were with jet 2

Well what can I say about this amazing place. Me and the wife arrived there safely with our 2 children and our 8 month old at just after midnight and was greeted by alfardo who was the night manager. He booked us in and gave us clear directions to where our block was and told us our room number. We then headed off to our room to find a travel cot in there. The room it's self had a sofa bed in there for the older children and a double bed in the other room where the cot was as it was a very spacious room it also had a kitchen for making hot drinks only. There was a fridge in there aswel. The bathroom was a good size with a shower over the bath. Atmosphere. It's a amazing place to go for a holiday all the staff was amazing and would go above and beyond to make out 10 night's stay as memorable as possible for us all the animations team was amazing and especially Sergio with his crazy but funny personality. Food. The food was typical European food but the selection was amazing and there was always something for everyone. Location. Yes it was in the middle of the mountains and a 2 hour transfer but it was definitely worth it by morning time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's thinking about booking here as is good value for your money. It is a very clean hotel as the pools was cleaned daily and you could ask for what days you wanted you room cleaned and the bedding and towels replaced. The entertainment was a little mixed is suited everyone. And once the bar closed at 11 everyone had gone back to there rooms by half past 11 and the noise levels was very quiet.
