We stayed in the new adults only area (suites and villas) which was great. We paid for all inclusive in the end with easyJet holidays which was an ok deal. PROS: - The whole resort is super clean. - Towel service is amazing by the pool - Balinese beds by the pool available to reserve everyday - Pools are super clean - When you stay in the adults only you can use all facilities across the resort, we used the main restaurant more as selection was bigger - Drinks are great, loads of cocktails wine/cava/beer in all inclusive - staff on the whole are accommodating and attentive. Gave us great advice. - 3 of us stayed in a villa and the single sofa bed was really nice (hard but I don’t mind that) - huge bathroom was great for 3 women! - plants around the resort make it super vibrant and beautiful - maspalomas beach is a 20 min safe walk away with lots of tourists on the same path. - You can rent a bed and umbrella at maspalomas beach for €5. It was quiet and clean in February despite it looking busy. - Dunes by the lighthouse are a must, absolutely gorgeous CONS: - for an all inclusive the food was good but somethings just tasted really weird or off. Got served raw fish one dinner. Fruit often tasted like it had been cut with an onion/used on savoury knife. - sometimes staff in the adults only restaurant gave us a judgy impression and said no to our very simple requests before listening to what we actually wanted. Sometimes it was just an extra spoon or to put tables together but their manner was rude. I don’t think this was a language barrier issue.
Very luxury hotel, quiet and peaceful. Excellent food and all the staff is nice and avaliable. The activities with Romina are very fun and she is so helpful with our concerns and questions.
Romina is very helpful and enojed the fitness classes. The restaurant was beautiful and the food great! The room was also lovely. We've been here before and the resort changed for the better. All the staff is helpful and lovely.
We ended the weekend with my husband in this wonderful hotel. Very quiet, cozy place. Delicious food, unobtrusive animation and great music. Thanks to the whole team for our wonderful vacation
The first half of our week was lovely. We were happy with everything and would have gladly revisited. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the adult restaurant was very nice. The holiday was a reward to ourselves after a tough few months health wise last year so we were looking for rest and relaxation. The problems began after a very harsh gale-force storm halfway through the week which resulted in a tall fir tree being blown over onto the roof/pergola of our bungalow causing some damage to the roof above the bedroom - luckily we were in the lounge at the time so avoided any injury. Obviously I appreciate that these things happen and are beyond anyone's control. We were given two options - to either stay where we were (332) as it was structurally sound even with a tree on the roof, or to move to another room. We chose the latter from a health and safety perspective, rather than risk further movement of the tree during the storm. It was stated there was only one other unit available (351) on site. When I saw where it was my heart sank. We'd had a lovely garden view in the middle of the premium section but were now facing a busy main road, next to a public restaurant with all the associated noises and smells that brings, with neighbours yelling at each other late at night, and not feeling secure enough to leave the patio doors open or to sit on the terrace. The air con wouldn't switch off, the USB sockets didn't work, plug sockets sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. I wouldn't describe 351 as a "premium" bungalow. We felt out on a limb and forgotten. Gone was the tranquillity and privacy we had previously enjoyed. That said, the complex is very well looked after, the gardens tended regularly and lots of activities on offer in the family section if required. We used the bus to the beach often and enjoyed walking the promenade to Meloneras. Once war broke out in the Middle East we were thankful that our issues paled in comparison, so accepted that we just write off this holiday and put it down to experience. Avoid any of the units alongside the main road if wanting peace and quiet.
