Servatur Puerto Azul

This hotel is beautiful? The views are breathtaking but firstly we travelled out of season and didn’t think the ratio from kids to adults would have been like it was. Kids everywhere, feral is an understatement. We don’t mind kids, we have our own, but they were everywhere. It ruined our stay. Secondly there were also so many pigeons, because people leave food all over, the place is swarmed with them. The staff try to keep on top of stuff but it’s a battle. Thirdly They also need to work on the food, it wasn’t good at all. I was really ill one night, I can’t be 100% it was the food, but it was never hot, and again feral kids with their hands all over everything, parents just didn’t care. This hotel would be lovely if they could vet people that booked 🤣 and better quality food. Shame really. We wouldn’t return.

I've stayed at many hotels in the area, but I just keep coming back here. Just got home after my 3rd stay at the servatur peurto azul and had a fantastic time as always. Me and my wife stayed in the duplex with a private plunge pool, and it was just fantastic! We've stayed here as a couple, and we've stayed here as a family..... Every time has been fantastic. you will not be disappointed! I'm sure we will be back again soon. Lol.

We loved our time here in the wonderful duplex room with private pool. It had air conditioning, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, ice maker, coffee maker. The best thing about the hotel is its cleanliness. Daily maid service (who were always lovely and very thorough!) and cleaners and staff were always working everywhere to ensure the place was spotless. This was especially evident in the restaurant. Plenty of choice in the breakfast, lunch and dinner service, both for my meat eating husband and my vegetarian self. No flies around the buffet, which was lovely to see, and the staff were every present, keeping everything clean and topped up. The room even had 4 bottles (rum, gin, whiskey and vodka), along with a well stocked fridge of drinks which were replenished every day as part of the all inclusive. Lovely views all around. Spar was very handy, which is on site. All in all, a really relaxing and lovely holiday ❤️

When we arrived at the lobby, we didn’t get the warmest welcome from the staff. They gave us a form to fill out, wristbands with the key to your room ( which I think is a great idea ) It wasn’t hard at all to find our room! We booked the family suite with a full sea view, which was gorgeous to wake up to Im the morning. Rooms are spotlessly clean, as is the whole hotel. Beds were comfy. Shower was great. Overall, breakfast was our favourite meal of the day with lots of selection. The food is reasonable for an all inclusive but gets a bit samemelile after a week of staying here. Hard for vegetarians or vegans since z over three quarters at dinner of the food selection includes dairy or meat. LOTS of meat. Also gets extremely crowded anytime at any meal. Pools are great: especially the infinity pool! Quite easy to find a sun bed. Love how the hotel is near a beach, a mini golf and of course, the ocean. O. Overall, had a great time at Servatur Puerto Azul!

The Servatur Puerto Azul is everything you can wish for as an all inclusive resort & for families with young kids. Hotel: Stunning hotel in a perfect cliff top location with amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Amazingly clean throughout & just had a lovely feel to the whole resort. Arcade, water slides & the football Pitch were added bonuses & our kids loved them. The pools are also great, with a small pool for the younger kids & never an issue getting a sunbed in the morning. Amazing!!! Accommodation: We had a superior double room with a side sea view & the room was great, again it had a lovely feel & everything felt modern & fresh. Room was cleaned daily & cannot say anything more except it was a beautiful room. Food & Drink: I have never been a fan of all inclusive resorts food but WOW, this place was amazing, there were so many choices for breakfast, dinner & tea (not to mention the snack bar which was perfect for the kids). Food was freshly made each day & each day you could have something different. You can see how hard the chefs work, not to mention the staff who are courteous & helpful. Drink was again a massive plus, beer on tap (beer was Tropical which is a lovely Gran Canaria beer), plus soft drinks & cocktails. Again not much to say apart from how great the food & drink were. Entertainment: The entertainment team at the hotel are a huge reason as to why this hotel for me is 5 star. They are brilliant, every day there is something to do, whether it’s darts, water polo, water basketball, football games etc. And it’s across all ages so everyone can join in on the activities. The night shows were fantastic, different each night (plus the minidisco for kids) & you can see how much effort, energy & hard work goes into putting the shows & activities on & everyone in the entertainment team are a massive credit to the hotel & kept us entertained for the week we were there - Thank you! The only issue I had was that there was quite a lot of pigeons around the food area & they can become quite a nuisance as they are there throughout the day, if this could be rectified then it would help massively but this is only one issue that I had. An absolute stunning hotel & resort with everything you could wish for & we are already looking at coming back next year. Keep up the brilliant work you all do & thank you for making our first family holiday abroad a memorable one. Ian
