Lovely little break and will definitely return. Positives: Rooms comfortable & clean Staff: efficient & friendly Food: Amazing Alcohol: wine is nice, A inclusive cocktails were awful so I did pay for a nice strawberry daiquiri. Location: great a short walk up the hill is the europa with pubs restaurant shops etc then down the hill designer shops pubs restaurant only 5 euro in taxi if you didn’t want to walk: Pools: big pool for family’s great for the kids. Infinity pool is beautiful with amazing views would have liked this to be Adults only was always full. Adults area so relaxing again beautiful views, however it just isn’t big enough. Having to queue at 8:30am to get a bed as it opens at 9. So making the infinity adult only would be much more appealing. Gym: great 👍🏻 Beach: there’s a shuttle bus takes you up and down the mountain. Tried to be as truthful as possible we are going to come back June, highly recommend but would like cocktails improved and adult area.

If you're travelling as a family with young children then this is absolutely the place for you, however I don't feel it is at all suitable for couples or friends looking for a relaxing getaway. Having been on holiday many times at this time of year, I have never ever known a hotel be so dominated my children! Firstly to start with the good points of the hotel... Fantastic views, spotlessly clean and lovely food. As for the not so good and the reasons we wouldn't return... The hotel is a maze, I mean it is huge. We had to take 2 separate lifts then walk down a ramp to our room. For a 4 star hotel of this size I'd expect to be shown to our rooms, but we were left with a map and basic directions from reception and got totally lost! Not great when you're exhausted from travelling and just want to get to your room. For the pool scene...There are 5 pools, but only 2 are big enough to swim in, both of these big pools were absolutely overrun with kids, jumping in and out, throwing balls etc. Now I totally get that's what children do and they deserve a fun holiday, however there was no opportunity to have a peaceful swim unless you went before 9am. I would suggest the hotel allocates one of the larger pools for games and activities and the other for those just wanting a swim. Then there was the infinity pool which was one of the main draws for us. We literally could not get in it at any point as it was packed with children the entire time, we found this quite frustrating as it is a small pool meant (in my opinion) to be relaxed in and soak up the views, but it was again, dominated by young children and quite frankly the water was gross. The hotel should consider having this as an adults area (even if only for part of the day) so that everyone has a chance to enjoy it. The adult only areas were tiny in comparison to the size of the hotel. The one area with a small pool (not big enough to swim in) only had around 20 beds and the gates were locked until 9am meaning unless you're willing to queue from 8.30 you are not getting a spot! We did this twice as we were genuinely so fed up of all the noise from the other areas and both times the gates were opened late (half past nine one day). The adults area definitely needs to be expanded... We also found the set up with the pool towels ridiculous to be honest. You pay a €10 deposit (must be cash) and get a receipt to get your towels, we then discovered you can only exchange your towels once per week!? And you must show your receipt again to do so! I've never known this anywhere I've stayed ever! The importance of the little paper receipt wasn't made clear,I seriously think the hotel needs to rethink how they do this. The cocktails were disappointing for a 4 star hotel too with the majority coming under All Inclusive Plus which you must upgrade to or pay per drink. We opted to pay the €6 euros on a few occasions and the drinks were awful. Again something that could be improved on by the hotel. Overall it was an OK week away, and as stated if you're going as a family you'll have a nice time but the hotel needs to make some big changes if they wish to attract adult only travellers as well as families .

The hotel is very beautiful, well maintained and clean. The food was also amongst the best I've experienced on an all inclusive even if there wasn't much variation. The Gym is also very clean with a good selection of equipment. However there were a number of things that dragged the place down meaning we wouldnt return. We were here the first week in march and it was genuinely astounding how many kids there were, i have never experienced this at this time of year. I have nothing against kids, i am a parent (though was not travelling with children on this occasion) but they just completely dominated every area of hotel and it felt like i was on holiday in a giant creche. Constant screaming all day every day. There is some respite in the adults only area but it is laughably small. If youre not queuing before 8:15am then you are not getting a lounger. The infitnity pool, featured heavily in the marketing photos, had 20+ kids in from open till close so no opportunity to relax or enjoy the views from it. Even more annoying that this pool is right next to the child-specific splash pool which remained virtually empty for the entirety of our week-long stay. When we did attempt to go in it, we literally had children climbing on us. The water was also very cloudy, presumably from the urine of 500 children. For a 4 star hotel the coffee is really bad. Overly bitter and tasteless crap from machines. You have to pay for a "proper coffee" but these are made using the same coffee beans and hardly taste any different. Really ridiculous this isnt included in standard all inclusive. The all inclusive cocktails are what they are, premade and poured from a bottle. Not great but drinkable. We paid extra for premium cocktails (espresso and pornstar martinis) on a couple of occasions and they were vile both times so not an issue with particular staff members. Despite being marketed as a mixture, this is a family/childrens hotel. This is maybe more of an issue with travel agents and not the hotel. If you are travelling with kids, they will love it. If you are an adult travelling as a couple or with friends and looking for a relaxing holiday i would go elsewhere. We travelled in march and it was almost unbearable so i dread to think what it will be like in the height of summer. I am probably coming accross as a grumpy old old man here, i do not grudge children having fun, but as an adult looking for a relaxing break, the sheer volume, coupled with selfish parents refusing to control their broods really just ruined the atmosphere and ambiance for us. I would be quite confident that the children outnumbered the adults during our stay. Hotel could improve things by expanding the adults only section to include the infinity pool (given the point of an infinity pool is to relax/enjoy views, there is absolutely no reason for toddlers to be in there) and an area in the restaurant.
