The Resort : Beautiful, clean, and incredibly peaceful. It is perfectly family-friendly and great for kids; we truly enjoyed every single detail of our stay. The reception was highly professional, and the spa itself is the perfect sanctuary to unwind. The massage with Sir was amazing! She is highly professional and exceptionally skilled at relieving tension. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and happy.

At the beginning of last year, we realised we didn’t have many family holidays left with both of our boys still living at home. With our eldest in his final years of school and likely to leave home afterwards, we wanted to create one last truly special family holiday. Finding Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives now feels like it was meant to be. By the time we arrived in June 2025, life had taken an unexpected turn. My husband’s mum had passed away just weeks earlier, and I was going through redundancy. We arrived emotionally exhausted. What we found was so much more than a beautiful resort. The warmth, kindness and genuine care shown by every member of the team was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. It never felt like service, it felt like people who genuinely cared that our family had the best possible holiday. Our boys still talk about the daily football games with the recreation staff, which became the highlight of every afternoon. When it was time to leave, there were tears, but our hearts were full. We left with memories we’ll treasure forever. So, when it came time to decide where to celebrate significant birthday in 2026 my suggestions were completely outvoted. Everyone wanted to come back to Centara Mirage Lagoon. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous. Could a second visit possibly live up to the first? Had we simply been lucky because the resort was new? Would the incredible staff still be there? I needn’t have worried. If anything, this visit has confirmed that what makes this resort so extraordinary isn’t the stunning island or the beautiful facilities, it’s the people. Every single team member, from hospitality, recreation, housekeeping, the restaurants and bars, to the kitchen staff, has once again made us feel so welcome and so genuinely cared for. Their friendliness, enthusiasm and kindness have created another unforgettable family holiday. Not many places become somewhere you simply visit. Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives has become part of our family’s story. Thank you to everyone who has made not one, but two of the most special holidays we’ve ever had. Our family just back from Centara Mirage Resort, and it truly was an absolute paradise that perfectly balanced fun and relaxation. My kids were thrilled from morning till night with the massive water park and endless activities, giving them the time of their lives. Meanwhile, the spacious, modern rooms and beautiful beachfront offered my partner and me a serene, much-needed escape to unwind.
