ROBINSON MALDIVES

What an incredible holiday. This island wa more than we could have dreamed for and it just kept giving. From the moment we stepped off the speed boat the welcome was so perfect! Bare feet with a relaxed and chilled island vibe. Food was insane!! Drinks were so fresh and the staff wow! All bartenders and restaurant staff had us well looked after! Nazlaan in particular was AMAZING! Nothing was ever too much, he made us feel welcome, always put a smile of our face and went over and above, our glasses never empty! All staff were so wonderful and friendly, our rooms were incredibly clean and fresh. If there was a way to rate it 10 stars I would! We will be back for sure!

My friends and I spent two unforgettable weeks surrounded by the beauty, care and attention. The service, accommodations, drinks, staff and food were all excellent. The coral reef was full of fantastically beautiful fish. There are all the necessary equipment for water sports. The cuisine was beyond praise. I'd also like to highlight the work of bartenders Malik and Udara. They make wonderful cocktails and always make sure the glass is full! The SPA is also worth a visit; we had a 75-minute balinese massage – a complete body and mind rejuvenation. Our friend was celebrating her birthday and ordered a private dinner for us on the beach. They set up a table on the beach especially for us, installed lighting, and set up a mobile kitchen. A personal chef cooked appetizers and lobsters for us! Special thanks to the resort Manager Andreas, who is involved in every aspect of the process, interacts with guests, and thanks to him everything runs like clockwork. It was an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend Robinson Maldives. And I dream of coming back again!

We spent a week at Robinson Maldives for our honeymoon and it exceeded all of our expectations! It was a long journey to get there but it was worth every minute of travel right from the moment we stepped foot on the island. Even though we arrived late at night, Andreus and co. were there to welcome us off the boat with smiles (and drinks!) and we immediately felt welcome. We couldn't wait for the sun to rise the next morning so we could experience the island in full. The island itself was paradise, with bright white sands, crystal clear waters, and breath-taking coral reefs. We stayed in one of the classic water villas, and the experience of going straight down the ladder into the Indian Ocean over the house reef was something we will never forget. The views of the beaches around the island and out from our room were so surreal, I had to keep taking a moment to remind myself I was seeing it with my own eyes! The food was amazing at every meal, and it was something different every day which kept us going back for more; the reef fish was a personal favourite. The staff were amazing - they always had a welcoming smile and said hello whenever they saw you around the island. They all got stuck in; dancing at the evening entertainment one minute, serving food at breakfast the next morning, then next thing you know they're taking you out on a boat tour! Naushad and Richard led the group turtle excursion we went on and were both very friendly; Naushad even shared some of his traditional Maldivian recipes with us which we can't wait to try out. Everything about this trip was sensational, the only negative was that we had to leave! Some wonderful memories, and a trip we will cherish forever. Zoe and Frazer

It is my first time on Funamadua and I am flashed and more than thankful to be here. On this Island everything is as is should for your once-in-a-lifetime-holiday. Fantastic white sand, amazing corals and so much different fishes, meals which never leave an open wish. But it would all be nothing without the best service. Everyone is kind and friendly and fulfills your wishes even if you haven't told them. Udara, for example, is such a nice guy, who just let you smile at every meeting. He is highly engaged to make you happy with his drinks and everything you also wish. We are happy to have met him here. For us he (and many others from the diving team or the sports team) is one of the key factors the have an awesome time here.

An excellent resort, very friendly and professional staff. We had a superior beach bungalow, directly on the beach opposite a reef entry point, about 10 metres out and another ten metres to the reef edge. Provided fantastic snorkeling, gear provided free of charge. The rest of the island, whilst small, has everything you could wish for, including white sand and turquoise waters. The room was spacious and well equipped, with safe and hair drier amongst other items. The bathroom was fab, with an indoor and outdoor shower and twin basins. Toiletries were "Rituals" and very nice. The resort is very German with few Brits, to be expected as Robinsons/TUI is German. A small gripe from my point of view is the new over reef/sea villas. All the architectural excellence of a set of self storage container units, not good!!! Food was of a high standard with plenty of choice, freshly prepared dishes and various cuisines. Drinks were equally varied and good. A few improvements could be: Alcohol in the mini bar to be included in the all inclusive price A separate bar for those wanting a peaceful evening without entertainment A separate area for smokers, particularly in the restaurant area Overall an excellent stay in a fabulous resort.
