ROBINSON MALDIVES

Spent two weeks here at start of March 2026 for a 'bucket list' holiday and had high expectations and this went above and beyond that. Everything was wonderful and it started with being greeted by the Robinson rep in Male airport to make the transfer to the domestic flight so easy and once again a Robinson rep was on hand when that domestic flight landed to see us on to the wonderful speedboat transfer. They made it so personal and special for what had already been a long flight from the UK. The warm welcome had not ended as we were greeted by Lia from the Robinson team on the arrival jetty with a welcome drink and a painless check-in....and then the magic really kicked in! Two weeks of bliss, we had a beach bungalow that was just beautiful, high quality and spotlessly clean with the sea just 15 metres from our patio on a beach that felt like it was ALL ours as it was so peaceful. Everything about the holiday was great, we flipped in the daytime between beach and the pool. The staff throughout the day, from the cleaners to the bar staff to restaurant staff and any others just going about their duties was top notch and all greeted you with a welcome wherever you went. Food.....WOW, top class with breakfasts giving every possible option, for lunch we tended to just grab some fruit and then the evening dinner taking that to another level with every dish being beautifully assembled/presented by a chef with an amazing choice using top quality ingredients. The evening entertainment was mainly the in-house team and they did a great job with many from across the various roles in the hotel like engineering and housekeeping demonstrating their dancing and acting skills. Over the two weeks we did not see any repeat shows. I have to mention the Sundowner bar that many attend for pre-dinner drinks sitting on bean bags listening to live music watching the sun go down and that became our favourite spot. Andreas the Manager is so welcoming and he even joins in the shows and dancing and his enthusiasm dissipates to each of his team who perform at their best all day long as one big happy family. We were first time snorkelers and there were many good places around the island on the house reef that we were able to test our skills and the water is calm enough and we saw many fish (and a few friendly reef sharks) and some amazing coral, plus some turtles and dolphins on a day out boat trip. Oh and take your shoes/flip flops off and never put then on again until you go home. One thing for Robinson to consider to improve would be at least have soft drinks being free of charge if used from the fridge in the beach bungalow. Robinson is a German company so German nationals were by far in the majority which we expected when we booked and it's never been an issue for us with any holiday and never once did we feel left out as all staff spoke English and any presentations were done in German and English and we chatted to many holidaymakers. We were so upset to go home and as many say the Maldives is a magical place and Robinson Maldives made that so much more special and we would love to go back one day. Alan & Mel London UK

Location amazing, ocean amazing, marine life amazing, food amazing, big thanks to all the staff members: Abdullah, Naushad, Aladdin, Laurin, Imam, Kiran, Chiara, we forgot everyone’s names but truly big thanks, we went diving several times and it was truly amazing. We loved it how everyone working there seemed happy and partook in the events and ate in the restaurant with the guests. It was truly a nice experience. Hycham and Mia

What an incredible holiday. This island wa more than we could have dreamed for and it just kept giving. From the moment we stepped off the speed boat the welcome was so perfect! Bare feet with a relaxed and chilled island vibe. Food was insane!! Drinks were so fresh and the staff wow! All bartenders and restaurant staff had us well looked after! Nazlaan in particular was AMAZING! Nothing was ever too much, he made us feel welcome, always put a smile of our face and went over and above, our glasses never empty! All staff were so wonderful and friendly, our rooms were incredibly clean and fresh. If there was a way to rate it 10 stars I would! We will be back for sure!

My friends and I spent two unforgettable weeks surrounded by the beauty, care and attention. The service, accommodations, drinks, staff and food were all excellent. The coral reef was full of fantastically beautiful fish. There are all the necessary equipment for water sports. The cuisine was beyond praise. I'd also like to highlight the work of bartenders Malik and Udara. They make wonderful cocktails and always make sure the glass is full! The SPA is also worth a visit; we had a 75-minute balinese massage – a complete body and mind rejuvenation. Our friend was celebrating her birthday and ordered a private dinner for us on the beach. They set up a table on the beach especially for us, installed lighting, and set up a mobile kitchen. A personal chef cooked appetizers and lobsters for us! Special thanks to the resort Manager Andreas, who is involved in every aspect of the process, interacts with guests, and thanks to him everything runs like clockwork. It was an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend Robinson Maldives. And I dream of coming back again!

We spent a week at Robinson Maldives for our honeymoon and it exceeded all of our expectations! It was a long journey to get there but it was worth every minute of travel right from the moment we stepped foot on the island. Even though we arrived late at night, Andreus and co. were there to welcome us off the boat with smiles (and drinks!) and we immediately felt welcome. We couldn't wait for the sun to rise the next morning so we could experience the island in full. The island itself was paradise, with bright white sands, crystal clear waters, and breath-taking coral reefs. We stayed in one of the classic water villas, and the experience of going straight down the ladder into the Indian Ocean over the house reef was something we will never forget. The views of the beaches around the island and out from our room were so surreal, I had to keep taking a moment to remind myself I was seeing it with my own eyes! The food was amazing at every meal, and it was something different every day which kept us going back for more; the reef fish was a personal favourite. The staff were amazing - they always had a welcoming smile and said hello whenever they saw you around the island. They all got stuck in; dancing at the evening entertainment one minute, serving food at breakfast the next morning, then next thing you know they're taking you out on a boat tour! Naushad and Richard led the group turtle excursion we went on and were both very friendly; Naushad even shared some of his traditional Maldivian recipes with us which we can't wait to try out. Everything about this trip was sensational, the only negative was that we had to leave! Some wonderful memories, and a trip we will cherish forever. Zoe and Frazer
