The hotel itself is actually very nice. The location is excellent, the sea views are beautiful, and most of the staff were friendly and professional. This review is not about the hotel itself, but about one receptionist from North Macedonia whose behavior unfortunately ruined a big part of my stay. I booked my room through Expedia because the listing showed an Economy Room with a balcony. At check-in, she immediately told me that economy rooms do not have balconies and that if I wanted a sea-view balcony room, I had to pay an extra €160 per night. Later, she changed the story and said I could only get a city-view balcony, and then claimed economy rooms never include a balcony. To verify this, I checked the Expedia listing myself and even contacted the hotel. I was told that the Economy Room I had booked does include a balcony. Despite this, she showed me a room with only a window and insisted that it was a “balcony,” which was simply not true. After that, she made me a very strange offer. She told me that if I paid her €50 directly, she could give me a third-floor room with a balcony and sea view. She also asked me not to tell anyone else because, according to her, “my boss will kill me.” This made me extremely uncomfortable. If there is a legitimate upgrade fee, it should always go through the hotel—not as a private cash payment to a receptionist. I came to Malta to relax and enjoy my holiday, not to deal with unnecessary stress and arguments at reception. On my last day, things became even worse. She accused me in front of other guests of leaving trash in the room and making the balcony dirty, even though housekeeping had not cleaned the room for two days and it had been very windy. She then demanded that I apologize and called me rude in front of everyone. I found this very unprofessional and disrespectful. Again, I want to be fair: the hotel itself is good, the location is great, and the rest of the staff were polite and helpful. However, this one receptionist’s attitude and behavior seriously affected my overall experience. I hope the hotel management looks into this matter because no guest should be treated this way.

Cracking breakfast. Very friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for you. The pool was shut as I was there out of season which upset some guests but it didn't worry me. Nice little sunbathing terrace which caught the sun all day and I largely had that to myself. Bliss. Plenty of buses nearby to take you anywhere. I'd been a bit worried by some adverse reviews but I'd certainly go back.

Steep 1/4 mile walk to bus route and out of the way. Local area run down and dirty. Roads and pavement uneven and not suitable for disabilities. Staff friendly. Rooms outdated and worn out but kept clean. Beautiful sea view from our balcony. Breakfast ok but you need to be early, as food goes cold and runs out. TV but no English speaking channels. Pool closed during our visit.
