Grand Hotel

V hotelu jsme vyzkušeli 2 různé pokoje protože jsme si prodlužovali pobyt - oba pokoje bez problémů jen v obou špatně odtékala voda z umyvadel i vany. Jinak čisté se super výhledem na moře a přistav. Plusem hotelu je možnost večeřet na otevřené terase v nejvyšším patře. Dalšim plusem je vzdálenost od přistavu cca 500 m ale do kopce. Personál byl příjemný a ochotný. Mínusem je vzdálenost k malé pláži cca 1 km po silnici a příliš vychlazená jídelna při snídani.

Náš jarní výlet na Maltu jsme zahájili právě na ostrově Gozo. Gozo rozhodně stojí za návštěvu, protože je tam spousta krásných míst. V hotelu jsme byli spokojeni, pokoj byl hezký a čistý. Hotelový personál příjemný a snídaně chutné.

Went to the Fresha spa for a facial and brow tint . The tint was done excellently, also the facial was amazing. Miriana was very professional and very knowledgeable about the work she was doing . Would definitely be returning.

Ive just returned from a week Half Board stay in a Superior Seaview Room with Terrace, at a favourite place that I first stayed at back in 2006. I actually was in the same room this time as per 2006. There have been 9 visits over that 20 year period in total. True to its name...one of the original owners "Grand Ambitions" seemed to make the Hotel expand from a modest 7 floor Terracotta establishment, to a Deluxe premises that extends for nearly the whole length of the street. It goes without comment that I obviously really have fully enjoyed each one of my stays, so for this 2026 review, I am just going to focus on its current Staff, those not mentioned in any previous review, that made this time truely extra special, I got the warmest welcome upon arrival by Receptionist MAJDA, later assisted by ANFISSA. The main restaurant team as a whole were great - the Standout being DANIELA, who always focused on my diabetes, ensuring APPLE was always available. Other special team members being ROCCIO, CELESTE, ALOK and a new Intern MARVIN. Finally I must mention Housekeeping - NEERAJ who took care of my room, he also ensured a plentiful supply of bottled water was always to hand. So thats 20 years completed..heres to more happy returns. Best Wishes and Thanks.

Another delightful stay at the Grand Hotel Gozo — I believe this was our eighth visit, which speaks volumes about the affection we have for this lovely hotel. We have previously stayed at the Kempinski, Ta’ Cenc and Cornucopia, all of which have their own appeal, but the Grand remains the place to which we are always happiest to return. The addition of the new infinity pool has enhanced the hotel beautifully, creating an even more impressive setting from which to enjoy the wonderful views across the bustling harbour, towards Comino and Malta. On this occasion, we stayed in one of the superior sea view rooms with terrace in the new wing, which was spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. I would certainly recommend booking, at the very least, a superior sea view room with a balcony. For those who enjoy the added pleasure of a private outdoor space with sun loungers, the superior sea view room with terrace is an excellent choice. The staff were, as always, exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We were particularly grateful for their kindness and flexibility when our flight was cancelled at the last minute; their assistance was very much appreciated and helped to ease what could otherwise have been a rather stressful situation. We are already looking forward to returning later this year and maybe, by then, the new reception area will be open and ready to welcome guests. There are only a few small points that I would respectfully ask the hotel to consider. A non-smoking policy around the pool area would greatly enhance the comfort of all guests. It may also be helpful to display a discreet and courteous notice asking guests to refrain from playing music on balconies or around the pool, and to keep telephone conversations at a considerate volume, so that the peaceful atmosphere can be preserved. Finally, discouraging towels or other items from being hung over balcony railings would help maintain the hotel’s elegant appearance.
