Mercure St. Julian´s Malta

The hotel is in a very lively part of St Julians.There is a bus stop at the end of the road which we used everyday.The people at the hotel cant do enough to make your stay a good one.The rooms are big and kept really clean.Good value for money.We stayed for 5 nights.Going home today.We have met some lovely people on our travels from reception to the bar.Special thanks to Danielle and Emma who are two little gems in your employment.They both work so hard and are an asset to your hotel.This is our 2nd visit to Malta the other trip we stayed inQwara.Hopefully one day we will be back to see you all again.There is building work in progress so maybe ask for a room at the front of the hotel.

Great location, within a walking distance from things to do. Very decent room with good facilities. Nice breakfast and delicious cocktails. Recommended.

We spent a week at the Mercure Hotel and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The entire property was spotless, and the staff were consistently welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, quiet, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. The location is excellent—just a short walk away from bars, shops, and restaurants, with a 24-hour convenience store right on the corner. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. A special mention goes to Zoe, who seemed to be everywhere at once, always ready with a smile and eager to help. Overall, the Mercure Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return on our next visit.

Our experience at your hotel was exceptional in every way, and we are truly grateful for the warmth and professionalism shown by every member of staff. Your hotel’s lovely location made our trip incredibly convenient — being close to a 24/7 shop, the waterfront, many restaurants, and numerous attractions was a huge bonus. The hotel itself is beautiful, and our marble-floored room felt luxurious, spacious, and airy, making it a wonderful place to relax. We were especially delighted by the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony, checked in early, and looked after with genuine care. We were deeply touched that the team gifted us wine to celebrate both our engagement and my birthday — an incredibly kind gesture that made our stay feel even more special. A very special mention goes to Isa at reception, who was truly exceptional from start to finish. She was consistently kind, considerate, and attentive, checking in with us throughout our stay and making us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth and professionalism stood out, and she made a fantastic stay even better. The views from the rooftop were stunning, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable. Every staff member we met was exceptional in their professionalism and friendliness. If I could suggest anything, it would be the addition of floor mats in the bathroom, as the marble floor can get wet quickly and become a bit slippy. Also, while breakfast was lovely, a wider selection of vegetarian options would be very welcome. However, these are very small points in what was otherwise a perfect stay. We had a fantastic experience and will highly recommend the Mercure Hotel St. Julian’s to friends and family. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you once again for making our visit so memorable.

This hotel is suitable for a short term business stay or a city break. I have no idea why this is on Jet2 books. Firstly the staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms have open hangers with no wardrobes or drawers the balcony can fit one chair on it which is ideal if you don’t want to speak to your partner. The breakfast room is icy cold in some areas and it is the first hotel I’ve stayed in where you have to set your own table. Bravo Mecure on saving on staffing costs. The breakfast however is decent. The pool looks a decent size in the pictures, it is not, there is barely enough space when it is busy and when you stick a thoughtless family of Caledonians with two kids in it every one around the pool gets soaked. Can’t even put a drink on your room number. Don’t come as a family.
