Vše super. Jen by se personál měl zaměřit na úklid podlah a čistoty na wc. Vše co nahlásíte na recepci je řešeno hned. Ale nechcete na recepci říkat, ze Vám mají uklidit podlahu nebo zamést mrtvé pavouky na wc. Za 3 dny uklizečka podlahu nevytřela ani nešáhla na záchod. Papír toaletni doplní. To je jediná mrzutá věc.

Hotel se nachází v klidném prostředí na severu ostrova, ve středisku Anse la Raie, asi 30 km od hlavního města Port Louis a 6 km od živého střediska Grand Baie. Svým konceptem je ideální především pro páry, kteří touží po odpočinku a soukromí. Hotel je určený pouze pro dospělé, a proto je oblíbený pro svatby. 67 originálně designovaných pokojů je inspirováno sídlem Východoindické společnosti Pondicherry, která byla známá obchodem s esenciálními oleji. Ve všech pohodlných pokojích se nachází velmi kvalitní nábytek z vyřezávaného vzácného dřeva, nadýchané hedvábné látky v teplých odstínech fuchsie, anýzově zelené a oranžové a také balkon nebo terasa, z které je výhled na pláž a oceán. Důvěrnou atmosféru doplňuje příjemné osvětlení. Má nádhernou pláž, excelentní služby, splní očekávání i náročnější klientele.

We stayed at Paradise Cove for 5 nights all inclusive to end our 3 week honeymoon travelling Africa and unfortunately it was a disappointing end. I would be hesitant to recommend the hotel or stay again. Pros - spacious rooms with comfy beds and you&me shower heads - lots of variety of things to eat including healthy options - evening dinner service at peninsula and XO very good - accommodated special request for porridge at breakfast - heated pool - all day tea bar with tea and biscuits - strong WiFi throughout the resort - rooms available to shower in post checkout - all inclusive ends on departure and not check out - lots of amenities and activities to do included in package - Lots of sunbeds and seating available - Evening entertainment every night - some staff were attentive and helpful but these were sadly in the minority Cons - the sink in our room didn’t drain, the fridge was warm and there were holes in the bedding and dressing gowns - staff on check in told us they had made us 3 restaurant reservations but the other 2 nights we had to eat at the dining room. We later found out this was not the case and we could have made additional reservations had we wanted to. - drinks service was extremely slow throughout the stay, if not non existent. The buzzers around the peninsula pool are often ignored (to the point we enquired if they were even working) and you often have to go to the bar yourself. At stay bar I waited over an hour and when it came it was the wrong drink. I then had to wait another 30 mins for the right drink despite me flagging i’d already waited an hour for the first. The waitress just shrugged. - the hotel is big on sustainability but to the extremes that it’s a hinderance. The activities had been uploaded online in French for the week of our stay and on flagging it with the receptionist she told us it was an error but if we went on the German site it was the English version. My husband asked for a print out of the water sport activities as there was lots of options of things to do and the receptionist just responded by verbally relaying them to him which was too much information for him to retain, hence him asking for a print out. - you have to sign a paper cheque after every order which is annoying considering the slow service and counter intuitive to the hotels sustainability policy - At STAY bar we ordered two starters off the starters menu and two mains of the mains menu and they brought all the food at once. I fed-back we didn’t want it all at once (why would we have ever expected it to be when it was on the menu as starters and mains?) and they apologised. The next day we had the same waitress and I repeated numerous times we wanted the starters as starters and then the mains after. She brought my starter only as a starter and my husbands with his main. At this point we gave up! - the Beef Benedict at breakfast was clock cold and poached eggs were hard. The beef was served from a Tupperware box out the fridge. I fed back to the waitress I had to leave it as it was inedible and she just stared at me blankly and proceeded about her day. - the waiting area at the spa needs major improvements. They tell you to take a seat but the seating consists of randomly placed egg chairs and wet camping chairs covered in leaves and mosquitos. We went twice and found ourselves standing both times. It’s not the start to a spa treatment you’d hope. We did get the impression that the hotel are keen to hear feedback and improve where they can which was reassuring. We were impressed that on being asked if we were having a pleasant stay by reception at breakfast and feeding back some of our dissatisfaction, the beverage manager made an effort to find us during dinner and speak to us directly on our final night. Unfortunately his efforts were undone on check out when i had to deal with an extremely rude receptionist. My husband checked us out at 12pm whilst I was having a treatment in the spa. On finishing my treatment the spa didn’t give me the option to pay with them, and regardless, I didn’t have the payment card on me as it was with my husband. I was fully aware id need to pay for my spa at reception before we left for the airport at 5pm. At 4pm I left my husband having our final dinner in the stay bar and went to enquire with reception about whether they could call us a taxi for 5pm or if we’d be better getting an uber to which the receptionist responded by asking for my room number and time of departure. She then proceeded to flip the conversation to the fact I hadn’t paid for the spa treatment. I said I was aware and that we hadn’t left yet (we were currently having some food in the stay bar) and she proceeded to argue that my husband had checked us out and I could have paid directly. She was extremely shirty and seemed to be implying that I’d been planning not to pay for the spa and simply by me enquiring for a taxi she’d managed to catch me. I was extremely offended and the whole conversation was very humiliating. At this point I couldn’t wait to leave paradise cove and it was a sad end to our honeymoon trip.

We stayed at Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel for our honeymoon and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The all-inclusive package was outstanding, with a wide selection of cocktails (our favourite was the Ocean Rose) and a really high standard of food throughout. We loved the variety of dining options, especially that multiple restaurants were included (required booking), which kept things feeling special. We ended up visiting XO twice as it was so good, and the Peninsula restaurant was also a highlight for lunch. The mix of buffet and à la carte dinners worked really well and kept things interesting across the stay. We did find the honeymooners’ candlelit dinner a bit underwhelming compared to the other restaurants, but it was still a nice experience overall. A real highlight was the level of thoughtfulness throughout the hotel, particularly the arrival and departure lounge with private pods. Having full all-inclusive access even before check-in and after check-out made the whole experience feel seamless and very generous. We also booked a couples massage, which was excellent and a real highlight of the trip. The Boathouse watersports added a fun and active element to the stay too. There was a slight delay at times when using the service buttons on the sun loungers, but this was genuinely not an issue for us. All staff were very friendly and welcoming, even if English was limited with a few team members, which didn’t affect our experience at all. Overall, this is a truly luxurious, adults-only resort that is perfect for honeymooners. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it.

Waking up to that panorama each morning was a gift in itself. The housekeeping team was meticulous, adding small touches that made us feel truly cared for. What truly sets Paradise Cove apart is its people. Every staff member radiated warmth and genuine hospitality. They didn’t just serve us — they anticipated our needs, remembered our names, and made us feel like cherished guests rather than just visitors. Our 7 days here were nothing short of magical. Paradise Cove is more than just a hotel. We left with full hearts, relaxed minds, and a promise to return.
