UPDATE 2026 My experience remains exactly the same as in my review from last year. The luxury rooms on the upper floors are comfortable and well equipped. The only thing missing is a proper desk. The refrigerator in the room makes an extremely loud noise, so much so that you have to switch it off at night if you want to sleep. On the ground floor, the hallway often smells of dogs and dog food. As a guest without a dog you really do not want to end up in such a room. Even though we are dog lovers ourselves, we have to admit that dogs do not really belong in hotels. The food is acceptable but rather repetitive, especially during longer stays. There is also a limited choice of desserts. The bar is pleasant and they organize regular events, which is a positive point. Due to cost cutting and a lack of staff, the rooms are not cleaned properly during longer stays. When we placed a “please clean the room” card on the door handle, nothing happened. During a previous stay one year ago, we were told at reception that guests who stay longer or return regularly could receive a discount on the very expensive parking price. Because of this, my wife politely asked the hotel director about this possibility. Unfortunately, the response we received from her was extremely rude. The director stated that because we booked through Booking.com and had received a Genius discount, we were therefore not considered “their” guests and were absolutely not entitled to any parking discount. As if people who book through Booking.com are not guests. In all my years of travelling with Booking.com, I have never heard anything like this before. The way she said this was also quite inappropriate. At check-out we also experienced some confusion regarding the invoice. Initially we were told that no invoice or proof of payment could be provided because the payment had been processed through Booking.com and the hotel had not yet received the funds. We were also informed that they did not have our contact details and that any issues should be resolved directly through Booking.com. After some discussion the hotel was eventually able to provide an invoice after all, but the situation created unnecessary confusion at check-out. It is disappointing to experience such situations, especially when staying for the second time a week or longer.

The restaurant part - a massacre - and that's an understatement. Flies are flying everywhere, swarms of flies all over the open dining room. You eat, swatting away every now and then, as if there was a corpse under the buffet... If you are on a diet, which used to be healthy and at a high level here, now you get fake salad from Biedronka, salmon from supermarket (even though we are by the sea) and these are definitely not dishes prepared by any dietician - i.e. they are not in any way medicinal or even healthy. If you don't eat meat, you are screwed - you can tell the staff this at each of the 3 meals for 14 days and you still get meat on your plate. In the buffet part, there is zero choice of meatless hot dishes. The staff working in the canteen laughs at the guests and gossips out loud about the clothes, body type and behavior of others - I have never seen anything like that. What is this circus about? It is not known - it is certainly not about guests, mutual respect, healthy meals or even a neutral atmosphere. The hotel part is attractive, the ladies at the reception are quite nice. Helpful, well-coordinated, cordial . The same goes for the cleaning team. The rooms in the hotel are ok, although the strange thing is that only one card is assigned to each room, which means that you constantly hear someone knocking on the door (the walls are quite thin here) or dogs barking in response to that. the good part is the sauna - but please put wooden panels on the floor - the tiles in the sauna burn in feet, not to mention the spread of guest mycosis. Treatment area: I recommend Mr. Tomasz - a great spine specialist, and a very good physiotherapist. I definitely do not recommend the bald "bioenergy therapist" with a beard - who, when doing regular fire cupping, drops the glass cups on the ground many times and also makes the clients uncomfortable by picking them up, throwing unpleasant, slimy texts and poking them 'as if by accident' with his penis while they lie still with the fire cups on their backs. Disgusting. Additionally - "hotel's directress" instead of solving the problems to any extent, in response to the opinion expressed in accordance with the state of affairs, calls a family member who was previously a guest of the hotel and exerts influence on him to withdraw the opinion - this is a pathetic approach below any level and form of blackmail so that the opinions match and the cashier continues to charge. As far as I know, such an approach is punishable. Not to mention- under any rates.

I have really enjoyed my stay at Akces Medical Spa at the begining of March. Great vegetable and fruits diet /Dr.Ewa Dabrowska/. Very nice spa with many treatments /for ex with moormud/and a beautyful long beach at the Baltic Sea.
