3HB Guarana (ex. Riu Guarana)

We had a super stay at this hotel (2 adults, 5yr and 1yr) where we booked the interconnecting rooms. Rooms were clean and tidied daily. The facilities are super and food couldn't be faulted. There is lots on offer for the kids and especially the kids disco was a big hit! The pools are not heated so definitely in for a refreshing dive! There are beautiful local beaches on walking distance and the cities of Vilamoura and Albufeira are 20 minutes away. Use Uber the get around!

We’ve just returned from 10 days at 3HB Guaraná and were really impressed. The photos don’t do the grounds justice — the gardens, pools and lobby feel lush, modern and well maintained. The hotel is immaculately clean. Floors were constantly being mopped and areas tidied, and the whole resort felt spotless and hygienic throughout our stay. It’s an excellent hotel for families. Our 4-year-old loved the pirate play park, splash park, face painting and kids club — there was always something to do. Food was a highlight. The buffet had a good selection (occasionally a little cool), and the Mediterranean and Oriental restaurants were excellent. The BBQ meats and sushi stood out, and restaurant service was above and beyond — staff were consistently friendly and attentive and very accommodating with gluten-free options. The late-night snack bar was great for supper for the kids. Evening entertainment was enjoyable but a little repetitive. We visited in April, so it may expand in peak season. The location is ideal if you want to be away from crowds but still close to explore. It’s a 5-minute walk to a beach with shops and restaurants overlooking the water, and taxis to Albufeira Old Town were easy. The room was spacious and comfortable with a super king bed and large TV. The air conditioning wasn’t working during our stay, likely due to the time of year. Overall, a fantastic family holiday and we would happily return

This place was amazing., very clean, food lovely, rooms couldn't fault everything spot on definitely stay there again.

This is not a hotel that we would choose as a couple, but for a family of nine, six adults and three children it was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower although over the bath was fine. The choice of food was excellent, I personally love a healthy Mediterranean diet and the selection of salads was good. I must mention the oriental restaurant if you like sushi, this is definitely the place for you,it was fabulous. We aren’t massively into the entertainment, but we joined in the quizzes and danced to the music

Very impressed with this hotel. Lovely decor, friendly staff, very clean and great food and drinks (better than some all inclusives I have paid significantly more for). Plenty of variation and choice at meal times and the Mediterranean restaurant was a highlight. Good variation of entertainment for all ages. Easy to walk to the beach on the road if the walkway isn’t suitable and Ubers to Albufeira or the mall are easy to arrange and very reasonable. Will certainly return.
