Salzburger Dolomitenhof

We've been here during a mtb tour. The hotel is placed on top of Annaberg with a greta view on the mountains. The wellness area is not too big. You can eat inside and outside: we were on half board and dishes were good enough. I saw a table eating 'a la carte' and the plates looed very interesting

The Hotel website is very professionally done, and misleading. We were there during their off season, as they clearly cater to the snow season crowd. We were one of only two couples staying that night. Be sure to take the half board when booking, if you intend to eat dinner. Breakfast? They provided 4 hard boiled eggs (for 2 couples) and minimal other dishes. Also, be prepared to haul your luggage up yourself. There is an entrance off the roadway, but you will still need to climb one flight of stairs to check in. Then additional flight(s) to get in your room. The view is okay, nothing to write home about though. The wifi barely worked at all, as the hotel is not properly wired. Word of caution!! They lock up sometime in the late evening. And you are confined inside, with no way to leave the building if there is an emergency, such as a fire.

Hotel Salzburger Dolomitenhof is a relative simple hotel with an excellent location at the skiing piste of Dachstein West. A real family hotel, which needs refurbishment. Breakfast and dinner were simple, but acceptable. A nice experience; wining, dining and sleeping alongside the piste!

This was our 2nd visit and it certainly will not be our last. The location of this Hotel is perfect, 45 mins by car from Salzburg airport, straight out of the ski/boot room onto the slopes of the Dachstein West ski area which is perfect for a short ski break. We ski here for 4days at a time and cover all the slopes of Annaberg, Gosseau and Russbach. Wonderful wide, long runs and many of them tree lined, never a queue not even on a weekend. The Hotel owners Georg and Susanne and waiters Mikeal and Ricard are welcoming, friendly and professional and speak good English. We have wonderful meals prepared by Georgs brother and drink some excellent wine from Vienna. The rooms are large and comfortable, plenty of storage, TV and hot water constantly all have slope views and extend across the valley to the mountains above. You will not be dissappointed if you stay here, it's a little gem.

Der Dolomitenhof punktet mit seiner Lage direkt an der Piste, darüber hinaus ist es ein durchschittliches Hotel. In keinerlei Weise gibt es etwas zu beanstanden, es gibt aber auch nichts zu bejubeln. Aber ok ist auch ok, oder? Jedenfalls Platz für einen entspannten Urlaub.
