Since I had explicitly asked for budget accommodation, I cannot complain: the price was right and the room in the side tract was basic, even somewhat run-down (floor creaking, bed side lamps broken beyond repair). A surprisingly spacious safe in the closet, however, lets you lock away your valuables when you are out n the mountains for the day. Bottom line: a reasonably priced option for mountaineers or skiers who just want a good bed for a good night's sleep. On top you can get all the amenities of the pricier rooms in the main tract: sauna, whirlpool etc (which I did not make use of). The free internet services can require frequent logging back in, especially during he busy times of the day

Excellent 4 stars hotel in the mountain. We stayed here 7 days/6 nights last winter with breakfast and dinner. The food was wonderful and personal was perfect. Clean and hot rooms. We had the perfect vacation. Every afternoon we had cake with coffee

We stayed there in summer 2013. The hotel is rated 4 stars but I think they payed up the ratings! Location is great, meals are good, but u have to eat it in a dark, nasty smelling restaurant! Those wooden walls are old and the door on kitchen looks like is from WW II ! So if u have some kind of alergy bring your meds along, u'll gonna need'em. I am a frequent traveller, I love Austria but this was a total dissapointment. That hotel needs urgent and TOTAL restauration! I don't recommend going there until this is done. The bathroom tiles and fittings are from the 70's, no/bad water pressure in the shower, all kinds of "provisory" repairements in the rooms, unequal floor... In the good side: in Summer get the Karnten card, it us free from Reception, u'll get all kind of discounts in the area: pools, toll roads...and they have some free bikes to enjoy the magnificent scenery But I won't come back at this hotel. Ever.
