Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles

Beautiful hotel on the beach with great facilities including 2 swimming pools with swim up bars & 3 restaurants. For this class of hotel the food was a little disappointing, apart from the Somewhere restaurant which was exceptional!! Special mention for Isobel our sommelier, who was super helpful & friendly. Couple of small supermarkets within an easy walk to buy your own drinks for the room, so you can pop them in the fridge and enjoy a more reasonably priced drink. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel. Good idea to hire a car if you want to find the best beaches for swimming & snorkelling. The hotel organised this for us & Andy was excellent.

Staff were amazing especially Isabelle and Oscar (to name but a few). Food and drinks prices were high and we didn’t feel that the food was of a standard we would expect from such high costs, apart from the Somewhere restaurant (we had red snapper) which was exceptional (not cheap but excellent food). Breakfast was buffet style with an egg station and fresh squeezed your own orange juice. We had a superior sea view room. Rooms and resort were really big and well kept. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore the island and found an amazing snorkeling beach Port Launey. Hotel is otherwise reasonably isolated but there are a couple of close by little supermarkets. Would recommend.

The Avani hotel is an ideal destination for a relaxing week away. We stayed for nine nights and found everything to be impeccable. The rooms are modern and spacious and we chose a lagoon room which was particularly beautiful. Having stayed here, we would recommend a beach room as the beach is stunning. The hotel’s culinary offerings are also exceptional. The chef provides a wide selection of dishes each evening with a themed menu. The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. In particular, we would like to commend Shaker and Heshan for their exceptional service. For those who enjoy spa treatments, the hotel’s spa is highly recommended. The massages are exceptional. There are two pool areas at the hotel, a main pool area which is casual and lively, and a beach bar which is quieter and has a stunning pool area. Overall, it was a fabulous stay. We thank Avani and look forward to returning.❤️

We had a wonderful stay here with such a warm welcome in every sense from every team. It was our 10 year anniversary so we asked if we could arrange a wine tasting to celebrate and Isabelle made the evening incredibly special. One of our favourite memories. Treasure island treats and happiness. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!

We had dinner at Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles Resort and had a really nice evening. The food was good, the atmosphere was relaxing, and it was a lovely place to spend the evening. What made the night extra special was a birthday surprise I had planned for my boyfriend. I had given an envelope with his birthday gift to one of the bartenders and asked if he could bring it when serving our drinks. Not only did he bring the envelope, but he also added a red rose, which was such a thoughtful touch and a really good idea from him. It made the surprise even more special and memorable. A big thank you to him for helping make the moment so nice. Sometimes it’s the little gestures that make all the difference. Overall, a lovely evening with great memories that we will always remember.
