Sadly, our experience wasn’t the best and we wouldn’t stay here again. ** currently having work done we were not aware of this, it was noisy during our stay, avoid the sun beds near the tar poling. We booked this hotel based on the reviews and EasyJet photos, bringing our disabled parent and younger brother on their first holiday abroad. While we appreciate that not every hotel is perfect, the hotel felt very dated throughout. The biggest issue was the accessible wet room. The shower flooded the entire bathroom, leaving the floor extremely slippery, and unfortunately our mum had a fall. If you’re travelling with someone who has mobility issues, I’d strongly recommend bringing a non-slip shower mat or stay somewhere else… is the better option advice. The beds were comfortable, the TV had a good selection of English channels, and breakfast was probably the best meal of the day with plenty of choice. The buffet food was average and often lukewarm, and there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room. One of the positives of the location— as it is not in Benidorm near the main town.. it is however easy it is to get around. Buses 2 and 3 run into Benidorm town centre for €2 cash, or less with a travel card. Taxis are readily available outside the hotel and cost us around €9 from the Old Town and €12 from the Strip. The nearby beach is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. It’s just a short walk downhill from the hotel, with plenty of shops, restaurants and beach facilities nearby. Sunbeds and umbrellas were around €6 each and we spent some of our best days there. Overall, the hotel works as a base if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring, but due to the dated facilities and accessibility concerns, we wouldn’t return. The corridors on flour 1 and 4 are like the shining, and the visuals when you’re showering… I felt so uncomfortable like someone’s eyes would peep through at any moment! You could see straight through it was really uncomfortable. Crack in our room tile would catch your foot every time you walked over it, had to put slippers on.. bring slippers just in case your blessed with this room.
Cleanliness of room was very good, the lady Zoriana was doing very good her job. The room was oriented to the pool, there was a bit noisy up to 00:00 every day, but nothing dramatic. There are 2 cons: no internet in the rooms, and air conditioning was a bit weaker during hot days.
Amazing hotel for nice vacations
Top class hotel, rooms very good, best beds we have slept on, our room cleaning lady on the 3rd floor, tall building made our stay in the room very special she deserved a mention, room was kept spotless, nothing was to much trouble for her. The food was very good, massive selections always something you liked, loved the freshly squeezed orange for breakfast and most of the staff looked after us very good. Highly recommend the grand bali for top class chilled out holiday. Didn't want to leave. Planning our next trip. Thankyou
For me the hotel is perfectly situated with a great retail mix within walking distance. The hotel and surrounding area are quiet and has a very relaxed atmosphere about them. The hotel itself is clean and tidy with friendly and welcoming staff.
