THB San Fermin

Hotel THB San Fermín in Benalmádena is a really great hotel for those looking for comfort, value, and a welcoming atmosphere. When we arrived at the hotel, the friendly and attentive reception/Front Desk staff helped set the tone for a very welcoming stay, they were always ready with a smile and happy to assist with us any requests we had throughout our stay. One of the great bonuses here for us was the food (we stayed half board, so breakfast & dinner) We pirchased our drinks for dinner at the desk as we walked into the restaurant and we then took them to the table ourselves (this cuts down on staffing costs I think & seemed very efficient) The hotel offers a great variety of well-prepared dishes, making mealtimes something to look forward to each day. During the morning or in the evening, there’s plenty of choice and quality to choose from at both sittings. We really enjoyed the food to be honest at this hotel (more than we thought we would) Food is replenished very well & often which we loved. The chefs are great at restocking. Cruz (& the other lady on the front desk at the restaurant) were very friendly. (Some of the what people think is OK to wear to dinner is very questionable, a right mix!) The air conditioning deserves a special mention from us, it worked perfectly throughout our stay... which was a huge plus. It kept the room cool and comfortable, making it easy to relax in a lovely, comfortable and cool room. (The air conditioning even works during the six "winter" months which is amazing, each air conditioning unit is individually controlled in each room) *even the so called 4 star 'Riu Palace Nautilus' down the road doesn't offer year around air conditioning & is three times the price of this hotel!) Cleanliness is very good and to decent standard at this hotel. The rooms and common areas are well-maintained and clean, adding to the overall sense of pride and care at this hotel. Location-wise, we found the hotel is well positioned, offering easy access to local attractions, shops, and the beach, while still feeling peaceful enough to unwind. Overall, Hotel THB San Fermín delivered excellent value for money for us. Spent 4 nights over Easter weekend bed & breakfast . Room clean & fresh looking , soft pillows but bed a bit hard for our preference . Nice double walk- in shower . Lovely grounds , 3 pools but very cold this time of year. Lots of space to spread out and always sunbeds available . Breakfast has everything you could need & we found it to be quite quiet & calm compared to some places we have stayed . Bar prices are reasonable . Short but steep walk down to seafront . Halfway between marina & Parque de paloma so good location . Whole building looks clean & modern compared to some in the area , and is well spread out . Would recommend if looking to visit Benalmadena

I never really write reviews but really felt I had to after our stay here! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!! The hotel was amazing! So clean, so fresh- near everything, staff so friendly and an amazing choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Bar reasonably priced and the grounds of the hotel were stunning- really well kept! Pools are beautiful! Location was perfect! 5 mins from all bars and restaurants (although a very short walk/ the hill is quite steep) a supermarket 30 secs walk from the hotel!! Deserves to be a 4 star in my opinion!…. Can’t wait to return!!

Just back from the San Fermin really good week away can't fault the hotel nice and clean good quick check in ,Food was good buffet style plenty of choice the steep hill up to the hotel could be a problem if your not good on your feet,the only down side is the staff could do with being a bit more smiley but maybe thats a spanish thing overall enjoyed it and would recomend it 👍

This was our second time staying at the THB San Fermin,there was a mix up on check in but was soon sorted,we was in room 120 first floor pool view ,we knew what to expect so the room didn't surprise us it was clean and has we expected, gonna be brutally honest there are somethings that need attention the door frames on most rooms on that particular floor were mostly all damaged,we stayed room only so can't comment on the food but it did look popular has there was many guests taking this option,the communal areas are clean and well kept judging by people going in the pool it can't of been warm,there is a gym to which we didn't use this time and a bar to which we used once and got a free cocktail due to our mishap during check in all in all it was a pleasant stay and would and will be back,I have heard many guests mentioning about the hotels position it is on a steep hill TOP TIP: ON LEAVING THE HOTEL TURN RIGHT AND FOLLOW THE ROAD DOWN, THE GRADIENT IS LESS AGGRESSIVE AND YOU END UP NEAR THE LONG BAR AND OCEANS CHIPPY AND ALSO ONLY A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH.
