Insotel Formentera Playa

Hotel se tváří jako 4*, ale ve skutečnosti je tak na 3*. Okolo hotelu se potulovaly kočky. Občas nějaká vběhla do jídelny. V jídelně po vystavených jídlech (studené) lezly mouchy. Na ohřívacím boxu na talíře byl prach. Na záchodech v těsné blízkosti jídelny lezly brouci - šváby. Po celou dobu našeho pobytu nám nešel ve studiu internet, přesto že jsme na to několikrát upozorňovali. Výměna studia nebyla nám umožněna. Těsně před hotelem a v jeho blízkosti se na dlouhé pláži vyskytovaly hromady tlející a zapáchající mořské trávy. Za celou dobu to nebylo odklizeno. Museli jsme chodit jinam cca 300 m. Z tohoto hotelu jsme byli zklamáni.

Měli jsme zahradní bungalov blízko hlavního centra areálu, ale byl perfektně odhlučněný, takže když jsme chtěli klid tak nebyl problém. Pokoj byl denně perfektně uklizený. Jídlo byla taková ta klasika, pokaždé se něco dobrého našlo. Ten kdo má rád ryby bude spokojený každý den vše čerstvé. Zelenina, ovoce všeho dostatek. Všichni zaměstnanci hotelu byli přátelští s úsměvem na rtech a bylo jedno zda to byl číšník nebo recepční. Poloha hotelu je ideální všude kousek. Dva velké bazény s částí pro děti. Moře nádherné pokud zrovna nebude klidné doporučuji písečnou pláž vlevo cca. 5 minut chůze, tam se dá blbnout ve vlnách a když bude klidné tak vpravo kousek jsou ideální podmínky na šnorchlování. Voda je do velké hloubky průzračná. Co bych chtěl vyzdvihnout jsou animátoři, jedním slovem SKVĚLÝ dělají zábavu od rána do noci, pro děti i dospělé a pořád s úsměvem. Celkově v areálu panuje příjemná přátelská atmosféra. Jediné možná negativum, ale to nemá s hotelem nic společného je lodní přeprava na ostrov pokud bude zrovna moře neklidné tak náchylnější osoby to bez pytlíku na zvracení nedají :D

Hotel is exceptional, good food, lovely staff, very friendly atmosphere and very quiet. Rooms are very clean, as was the hotel. Although the hotel was busy during our stay, there was always room around the pool and in the restaurant. Formentera is a lovely island, easy to get around with local transport, however, as we were a party of four, it was actually cheaper to go to the port for lunch and shopping by taxi (16 Euros). Also visited San Frances, which is also a lovely town, with coffee shops and clothes & gift shops. There is also a couple of supermarkets near by. I would go back to this hotel, although travelling to the hotel is a bit long winded. We went with TUI, after the flight, getting to the hotel is by ferry to the island and coach to the hotel. In all it is about 2 to 2 and half hours transfer time from the airport, but well worth it. For the time of year the weather was 26/27 degrees. You should also be aware that the hotel is situated on a nudist beach.

Brilliant hotel. The buffet menu is the best we have experienced over many years of travelling. Staff very friendly, and rooms cleaned every day to a very high standard. Only downside is that we booked with Jet 2 holidays and the flights only go at 4.30pm in the afternoon, and be warned if you use them you will not arrive around 10pm at night. Probably better to use TUI as they have more flights, and you can arrive at a more acceptable time.

Our third visit to this hotel, we stayed from 5th September with Jet2. Check in was friendly and efficient. We had requested a studio apartment on a high floor which we got. The room was spacious and comfortable with a pool view. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and bedding and towels were changed regularly. We were initially supplied with two bottles of water to put in the fridge. We bought a 5 litre bottle from the on-site shop which we used to top up throughout the week. We stayed all inclusive. The breakfast choice was very good with plenty of choice and the omelettes were excellent. We had option of using the restaurant for lunch but usually opted to use the poolside snack bar. The evening meals tended to have a theme with a comprehensive choice, we always found plenty to eat and the food was well cooked. Drinks were served at the table with a choice of wines, beer, soft drinks and water. The staff in the restaurant were always very pleasant and efficient, Marta looked after us very well. The bars were well stocked with an excellent range of drinks. The service at both was friendly and efficient during the day and in the evening. Manu, Melany, Sebastian, David and Bryan all did an excellent job. If you didn't want to use the beach there were plenty of sunbeds available around both pools, pool towels changed twice a week. The pool area was cleaned every morning and the water was checked daily. Whilst we were there we saw some maintenance being done around the edge of a pool which did not affect it's use. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel making it easy to explore the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we thought it was very good value and would happily return.
