Aubamar Suites & Spa

We are a British family of 3 who have just finished a 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, spotless and the staff are amazing. We stayed in a junior suite, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. Food at breakfast was really good, in my opinion quality over quantity is better and you can tell the hotel use quality ingredients. The location of the hotel is on the bus route from the airport or is 10 minutes in a taxi. 30 mins on the bus from Palma city centre. With us having a baby this is one of the reasons why we chose this hotel for our short stay. We are not familiar with areas in Palma so we’re non the wiser to the fact that the area where the hotel is a German party hotspot. I.E the area is the German version of Magaluf…not ideal. If you are staying in the park tower facing the street be prepared to bring earplugs or you will be woken up by partygoers stumbling up the strip and out of Bombolaos until 5 am. We did not raise this as an issue with the hotel at we were only there for 3 nights. I am sure that if you are in another area of the hotel or have a pool view room this will not be an issue. Once you are inside the hotel you very quickly forget about the outside location as it really is so lovely! I would definitely return to hotel!

Really loved this Hotel has been amazing! Staff are very friendly and excellent food all round. Can be a little noisy as near the German strip of Arenal, though it didn't bother us. Used the pools and spa and really enjoyed it. Make sure to go to the rooftop for cocktails and enjoy the incredible view. We stayed here for my Girlfriend 21st birthday this week and the hotel were able to upgrade us to a higher floor (12 floor) with a sea view. I also asked for a birthday suprise in the room which included balloons, prosecco and a lovely flowery bear. Thank you to Rosanna who arranged that as she made it very special for us. If you have booked with Jet2 you may be expecting a welcome meeting or general help but they don't seem to have presence in this area which is a bit of a let down for Jet2 if you have travelled with them in package holidays before. If You Want help arranging trips, talk to Rosanna with Guest experience as she made this very easy for us to do trips. Overall I really loved our stay here and definitely will be coming back!

PROS: The hotel and staff are wonderful, couldn't do enough for you. The food was lovely and well thought out. The interior was very luxe and exterior was pretty much pristine, the spa was beautiful. 2 outdoor pools plus spa pools, indoor spa pool, rooftop bar & pool - all well maintained and tons of sunbeds. Couldn't fault the hotel itself. CONS: The issue here is the area behind the hotel, it's party central for the German crowd, tons of young people, stag & hen parties etc. People drinking in the bars from early morning right through the night, lots of dodgy street sellers, dirty and packed beach, loud music from the clubs throughout the day & night. If you're by the hotel pool during the day you can't hear the noise from the clubs as the hotel have their own music which is not too loud and perfect poolside, definitely drowns out the clubs. Sadly we had some very loud neighbours as they were there to party, shouting, screaming, tons of noise so had to speak to reception who were very apologetic and you got the impression they had to deal with this sort of stuff regularly, they kindly moved us and upgraded us to a slightly nicer room. Hotel is about a 7 mins walk to the beach but once we'd seen it we didn't go there and jumped in the hire car and explored the rest of the island. We basically used the hotel as a base once we realised the mistake we'd made with the area. Anyway, there's your warning to research the area carefully!

What a wonderful hotel—truly deserving of five stars. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely focused on the details that make a stay special. The buffet offered a good variety and quality, and the team went above and beyond for our family. Antonia and Criss were particularly thoughtful, always ensuring our toddler and baby had high chairs and child-friendly utensils, and engaging warmly with our children. Criss even remembered our family’s regular drink orders, which was a lovely touch. Guest services also made sure our baby had jars of baby food available each day, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself is spotless and very well maintained. The Aubamar chocolates were a nice extra and seemed to be available everywhere. The kids’ club was calm, beautifully designed, and well-equipped with activities and toys—Carla was fantastic with the children. Facilities overall were excellent. The rooftop bar offers stunning views, and the pool bar service was brilliant, including attentive service directly to your sunbed. There were plenty of sunbeds, cabanas, and towels available, along with multiple pools across Aubamar Suites and Aubamar Resort. Our pool access suite was especially convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide selection of drinks included. We also appreciated the small touches—on checkout, our toddler was given a helium balloon, which made his day. Complimentary late checkout was a big help, and housekeeping was efficient and thorough, keeping everything well stocked. Areas for improvement: There is only one heated pool, located in the spa, which naturally attracted families with children as the outdoor pools were too cold (despite temperatures of 23–24°C). This created a bit of a mismatch, as guests seeking a quiet spa experience may not appreciate children using that space. There is an outdoor children’s pool, but it is unheated and largely shaded, making it too cold for younger kids—though this may be beneficial in peak summer. Each room had just one small bin in the bathroom, which wasn’t quite sufficient for general waste. As a result, empty bottles and cans tended to build up beside it, even with daily housekeeping. A larger or additional bin in the bedroom would be a practical improvement. At dinner, fruit juices were priced at €4.50 but served in small 200ml portions (around half a glass), which felt poor value for money. Things to note: The hotel is located near a lively strip, and while we personally didn’t experience any noise, another couple mentioned having to change rooms due to a nearby bar. That said, within the hotel grounds, by the pool, and in communal areas, the atmosphere is peaceful and feels completely separate from the surrounding area. Overall: This is a very well-run hotel with excellent service, great facilities, and a clean, luxurious feel. It’s particularly accommodating for families with young children. We had a fantastic stay, would highly recommend it, and wouldn’t hesitate to return—we genuinely didn’t want to leave.
