Caramelo Calvia Beach (ex. Cook's Club Calvia Beach) Adults Only +21

We stayed at this hotel before when it was the Cooks club.Happy to say that not much has changed .We had a pool facing room ,we had no issues with noise .People need to realise that this hotel is close to the strip .Rooms are clean and beds were made every day.We only had breakfast and the food choice is fabulous. Would be very surprised if someone could not find something to eat .We also ate one evening at the hotel the only gripe I have is I am gluten free and I didn't find much on the menu that I could eat .Pool areas are great ,music is played from about 10.30 but not overly loud .The staff are a credit to this hotel from housekeeping to bar staff and reception .Always have time to speak to you .Hotel is on a steep hill just to bare in mind . Plenty of bars and restaurants close by will mention The Prince William pub just up the road lovely family friendly pub . We will definitely be back next year.Keep up the good work

Me and my friends we stayed for a week to Caramelo Calviá Beach hotel adult only. Location is great as we also rented a car. In general in Magaful very very difficult to park on streets you cannot find easy. You can park at hotel but they charge you 15 euro per day , also they take a deposit for a key safe box if you wanna use it 10 euro and as well for beach towel and for 2 days didn't have the towel to change. The hotel looks clean good GYM facility, I have a 302 room decent room , clean, a good air con, the bed bit hard and not that comfortable, very noise from the other hotel next to us music , screaming in general party all night it was very difficult to sleep because of this .Same with my friends room 203. Some receptionist not very friendly and not very helpful at all when you ask some question. Breakfast good lots of variety but the same every day food,There are breads, fruits, yoghurt, nuts, seeds, porridge, cereals, sweet and savoury pastries, doughnuts, churros, waffles, mini pancakes, omelettes and eggs cooked fresh for you, a hot food station with bacon, sausages etc, cold meats and cheeses, smoothies made fresh on request. If you wanna lunch or dinner you have to pay and is self service you have to go to take your order when ready. A swimming pool great with the bar if you wanna drink . They didn't have any entertainment bit boring not to have. The staff hotel did not inform or advice where to go, what to see around like some travel guide. Even when we left didn't say like thank you for choosing us and we would like to see you again or anything. The staff need more training I think. For the money we paid I would not recommend. Need more improvement. Otherwise we had a great Holliday. Recomand to rent a car so you can explore other beaches.

I visited this hotel with my adult daughter and was a little worried as there were a few negative reviews. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world and can honestly say that this hotel scores highly. We arrived early quite prepared to be told that our room wasn't ready and were checked in quickly by a friendly staff member on reception. We liked the ribbon wrist bands that were also our room keys, meaning they were safely on us all the time, no scrabbling around in bags looking for key cards. We were upgraded to a sea and pool view room which was lovely. The room and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic with a massive choice. There are breads, fruits, yoghurt, nuts, seeds, porridge, cereals, sweet and savoury pastries, doughnuts, churros, waffles, mini pancakes, omelettes and eggs cooked fresh for you, a hot food station with bacon, sausages etc, cold meats and cheeses, smoothies made fresh on request. I've only seen one hotel provide a better breakfast and that was a 5 star plus hotel that also had champagne on ice each morning and I paid alot more there per night than here! The pools were very nice and although we didn't use the gym it was very nice. There's been some mention in other reviews about noise from other guests and the music being played. We didn't have an issue with either. The music around the pool and terrace was soft background music, not a problem at all. Our room was very quiet, maybe we were lucky with the surrounding guests, but noone was noisy or woke us up in the night. The WiFi is excellent and there is a kettle and a good very quiet fridge in the room. On our last day we checked out at 11am and were allowed to store our luggage in a locked room and continue to use all facilities until we left for our flight home at 6pm. They even let us use a shower room next to the gym to freshen up and change before we left. We had one minor issue in our room late one evening which was sorted promptly by the security man who was on duty, he was a star! The views from the restaurant, terrace and balcony are amazing. Location is also excellent, it is literally the same short distance to the beach at Palma Nova as it is to the beach at Magaluf. Another review complained about the slingshot ride which is visible from the poolside views. This doesn't operate until late at night and although it runs until the early hours you cannot hear it with the balcony door shut. I found it quite amusing watching people being catapulted into outer space at night from my balcony, but it's not intrusive in any way. The steep hill that everyone mentions isn't really that bad either. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay in a lovely modern looking hotel that is clean, comfortable, serves the best breakfast and has great staff and is in a good location.

I had a lovely time away, unfortunately I would not stay at this hotel again as my room was facing a party hotel that did not stop all night long and they could see straight into my room so had to close the curtains while getting changed. There was also a fire exit next to my room 306 which was constantly open, think the housekeepers used it, as being alone it didnt feel safe at night. I did request a pool facing room and told this to management but they said there were no single rooms on the pool side and I could pay extra to upgrade which I found it a bit of a rude response but at least I had a response unlike when I emailed to tell them I had left an item behind, still waiting for a response on that. Only other issue was they dont take cash at the bars so be aware of this. Overall I did have a lovely holiday and if I was to go back to mallorca I would stay more in the palma nova area.

This hotel is fairly well located—unless you happen to have any mobility issues. The road leading up to the property features a gradient of more than 13%, which, for cycling enthusiasts, is roughly equivalent to a Category 1 climb in the Tour de France. Arriving with luggage can feel less like checking in and more like competing for a polka-dot jersey. Prospective guests should also be aware that music is a permanent feature of the hotel experience. It plays everywhere, all the time, and occasionally at a volume that suggests the management is determined to ensure nobody is left alone with their thoughts. Adding to the atmosphere, smoking remains perfectly acceptable in both the restaurant and pool areas—even in 2026. While marketed as an adults-only hotel, it is perhaps more accurate to describe it as a party hotel. There is a constant turnover of groups whose primary objective appears to be celebrating something, anything, or simply the fact that they have arrived. As a result, peace and quiet can be somewhat elusive. The neighbouring attraction is an amusement park, complete with a giant swing ride that reaches approximately the same height as the hotel itself. The accompanying soundtrack of delighted screams and mechanical noises requires little further explanation. Dining is another curious experience. Food is ordered in one place, drinks in another, creating a level of service coordination that falls noticeably short of what one might expect from a four-star establishment. To be fair, the pool area is genuinely lovely, and during the rare moments when the noise level drops below "festival mode," the hotel can be a very pleasant place to spend time. It is likely best suited to guests between the ages of 21 and 40 who enjoy a lively social atmosphere. And finally, a word of advice: if you use a wheelchair, do not come here. Unless, of course, your holiday ambitions include recreating a mountain stage of the Tour de France.
