Caramelo Calvia Beach (ex. Cook's Club Calvia Beach) Adults Only +21

Second time visiting this hotel, great location, great food, great cocktails, hotel is stunning and staff are always so friendly. It’s the perfect balance of being close to the bars and nightlife, but also not so close it keeps you up all night. Highly recommend visiting some of the restaurants on the beach front, Calvia Beach House and The Blue Bar are personal favourites. There’s also hours of entertainment sat listening to people go up on the slingshot too whilst enjoying a drink out on the terrace of the hotel. This hotel hasn’t disappointed yet, will definitely be coming back!

We have just returned from 7 days staying at this hotel, and it was a nice hotel The hotel itself is beautiful, very well kept, the pool area was clean. The rooms were very clean and spacious enough. Something to bear in mind is the hotel is situated at the top of a steep hill so may not be ideal for people who may have difficulty in walking. Also if it has been raining the tiles are extremely slippy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially all the restaurant staff, they were always happy to help. The breakfast was lovely, a lot of options including a smoothie bar. The only issue we found was, the door to the balcony, when it was ‘locked shut’ it wasn’t shut tight, and it still opened slightly. This was an issue when it was 3am and trying to get sleep. The hotel is right next to Magaluf strip as well as the Magaluf catapult, so trying to sleep when the noise of outside was carrying through proved extremely difficult. Also if you have rowdy neighbours who sit on the balcony laughing and shouting at 3am, you might as well be sat next to them due to how much the noise carried through the balcony door. Following on from the rowdy neighbours, I have to say we did have to ring reception to complain about the noise and the staff were straight up and sorted the issue out with the people next door which we were extremely pleased with. The hotel is situated closer to Magaluf, so it can be noisy in the area. Considering we went at the end of the season in October there was still a lot of noise. This is probably our fault for not researching the area enough before booking. But the hotel is only a short walk to Palma nova, with some great restaurants. I’d recommend Iroko in Palmanova and Blackbeards Magaluf.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week at the end of September and had a brilliant experience. Our room was lovely and spotless, with housekeeping changing sheets and towels daily. There’s a mini fridge, and you can hire pool towels for a €10 deposit which was handy. Our balcony didn’t have a sea view, but we enjoyed the mountain views and a bit of people-watching from the neighbouring hotel! The hotel facilities were great – reception is 24/7 and the staff were really helpful and friendly. There’s a luggage storage room for checkout day and even showers you can use before heading to the airport. Inside areas are stylish and relaxing and there's a decent sized gym with a pool view. Your room key is also on a wrist band for each traveller which saves having to remember who has the room key! The pool area had a good but chilled vibe, good music that wasn’t too loud, a pool table, and a lovely pool bar serving great cocktails. Plenty of sunbeds, loungers, and beanbags so we always found somewhere to sit. Breakfast was excellent every morning with loads of choice: fresh eggs, fruit, smoothies, pastries, and hot options. It did get busy at around 9, but the outdoor terrace overlooking the pool made it worth it. The location was excellent – yes, it’s at the top of a hill, but as young travellers we didn’t mind at all. There’s also a gentler slope down to the Magaluf strip which made the walk easier. Overall, a fantastic stay – clean, beautifully decorated, friendly staff, great food and a relaxing but lively atmosphere. Would definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was the first holiday for myself and my boyfriend, celebrating his birthday. Room: Clean, fresh, modern and simple. The balconies were very big, especially as there was only 2 of us. Despite facing another hotel, we actually quite enjoyed people watching, and if we angled your chair, we could still get a good view of the sea and the beach. Staff: The staff at the hotel always had a smile on their face. You could tell they all enjoyed working with each other, and it was enjoyable to see them talking and having a laugh with each other. Special shout out to the restaurant bartender (I didn't get his name!) who despite only ordering ONCE, remembered by partner enjoyed a glass of Glenmorangie in the evening and would always ask if that's what he'd like every night. Also, a special shout out to the reception staff, who despite not being told it was my partners birthday, left him a gift of a few chocolates in our room. Food: The breakfast buffet was amazing. It was always quite busy (Late September) with most people eating around 9am. If you're looking for a hot breakfast (eggs/sausage/bacon etc.) expect to wait in a short queue. Lunch/Evening food was good. I would recommend eating a smaller lunch and exploring wider Magaluf/Palma Nova for dinner as there's so many amazing restaurants in the area. €30 a day on the half-board wristband worked perfect for myself and my partner. One of us would buy drinks during the day and the other would buy lunch or a light dinner. The limit encouraged us to explore the area more rather than staying within the hotel. Pool:The main pool was busy most days with a handful of sunbeds free throughout the day. Other reviews have said there's no music through the day but we heard music playing around the pool everyday from 10am so it wasn't an issue for us. The 2nd pool (infinity pool) was much quieter, with no music and a lot calmer. This was the area we enjoyed more as there's only 4 sunbeds by the infinity pool. The only issue with both pools is how cold they were. I was hoping there would be some heating in the pool to keep it at a more comfortable level on the milder days, but unfortunately not. Overall: A very clean and fresh hotel. Quiet most of the days with most guests being there to relax rather than party. Despite being on a hill, it didn't bother us but can imagine if you have more limited mobility it could be an issue. Taxi's tend to pull up right outside the front doors, but airport transfers drop you at the bottom go the hill. In conclusion, an amazing hotel a short walk away from the beach. The staff were lovely and we had absolutely no issues during our trip. We're considering coming back or exploring other Cooks Club locations.

What can I say? Such a beautiful hotel, rooms are splendid, all staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and really went out of their way to make our stay special. Such a great location and such a chilled vibe. The food in the restaurant was incredible and the cocktails were delicious- premium spirits. We went with the half board option and it gave us so much flexibility to make the most of our stay. Still here don’t want to go home.
