Protur Badia Park Aparthotel

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Protur Badia Park. The hotel works really well for families and has thought of everything you could possibly need. It was great having a larger pool, smaller baby pool and the addition of a splash pool out the way at the back which our almost 3 year old loved. At the back, separate to the hotel was Paradise Park which had go karts, trampolines, small rides (for €1) and a larger splash area. It was great that this was included in the hotel price but was separate from the hotel so it didn’t feel too busy. The whole place was very clean, despite it being a busy week for families at the hotel there was never any mess. The rooms were also more modern and better than I was expecting. We thought the food was really good for a buffet and having the option to book themed restaurants in the other hotels broke it up a bit. Despite it seeming like we picked a busy week at the hotel there was never a wait for anything and 50% of the sunbeds still available most days at 1030am, no silly sunbed wars. Ice creams in the multiple freezers always fully stocked. We had a really great time. The only thing is there was a lot of children at the hotel, I imagine because it caters for them so well! However if I was looking for a holiday as a couple without children I wouldn’t book this one. For families with children it’s brilliant.

Lovely clean rooms and pool very clean. Cleaners amazing the rooms were left lovely after they had been in. Staff not very friendly or chatty - the entertainers were though! Made for a bit of an awkward atmosphere. Not ideal for friends/couple holiday as there were a lot of families and children (which is fine just wasn't for us). Food wasn't the best it was all very bland but there was a big selection. Snacks pretty much all day and ice lollies and ice cream available all day. Very close to the beach and lots of shops and there's a carrefour right next door.

Just returned from a week here at the beginning of June. What a fantastic hotel, much better than expected. The staff are so accommodating and the hotel is spotlessly clean with great facilities. I was worried that we had chosen the wrong hotel because the Safari next door is bigger, but having walked around them, I believe this one is better. It’s smaller, seems more friendly and personal and the staff are fantastic. You have the added benefit of being able to use the Protur facilities whenever you choose including the splash park, the boats, the mini golf, feeding the fish and all the entertainment activities around the complex. The Safari seemed too big, too loud and too crowded. I think we would have struggled to watch out for our young granddaughter there. We requested a room change on arrival because we prefer not to be on the ground floor and they immediately found us two rooms a few doors apart on the first floor. They delivered a kettle and a child step and toilet seat to our rooms for our 3yr old granddaughter on request. Nothing was too much trouble. The pools are fantastic. There was such a great choice of the main pool, the kids pool and a splash park. All were warm and sunbeds were available at all times of the day. The pools opened at 10am and no one reserved beds in advance, there were plenty for everyone. The activity programme during the day was plenty and varied. The kids mini disco was great and the evening entertainment was ok, a bit cheesy, but amusing at the same time. Could do with a bit more translation for the English guests, quite a bit was in German, but still enjoyable and we got the gist of what was going on. The food in the main restaurant was good, there was plenty of choice. The people who say it’s a bit samey I think are the ones who put a bit of everything on their plates at every meal. If they made a meal each time, it would be different every time. The waiting staff were fantastic and cleared plates away so quickly and kept everything immaculately clean and tidy. The only negative I would say and it’s quite a big one is that there are no allergy labels, especially at the dessert counter. You could eat with allergies, but you would have to be extremely careful about your choices. The snack bar wasn’t that great in the afternoons, mainly cheese, cold meat and bread. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The aircon was working and kept the room nice and cool. There is a fridge and microwave in each room. I think the only improvement required for the rooms could be tea and coffee making facilities. We are early wakers and you have to wait to go down to breakfast at 8am to get a coffee. Having said that, we did get a kettle delivered from reception and we brought our own coffee with us and were able to buy water, milk and cups at Carrefour next door, so we found a way round it. Overall it’s a great hotel, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it.

Location of the hotel is great - close to the bus stops, shops, not far from the beach. It is mainly kids hotel I think and there was lots of activities for kids. Was brilliant. Animation team is the top! Max was very kind and always smiling. Everytime he saw a kid he ask him some questions and had a small talk with them. Zoe - full of energy and even in full sun and hot she was able to give 100% and jump and dance. She was awesome. Mini disco was mainly in German, but it doesn't matter as it is disco, so kids mainly dance. Staff speaks English, German, Spanish. Reception team is always helpful. Kids club is a great place with a lot of activities. There are variety of activities for adults as well. Great thing is free bike hire, mini golf, tenis. For sure you will enjoy your stay if you are family with kids. Main pool is not so big, but in May/June wasn't overcrowded. There is also pool for small kids and splash area. Another splash area and trampolines are right next to the hotel for free as well. One minus was food. It was tasty and for sure everyone can choose something what they like, but most of the time it was cold. Even when staff bring the new plate of meet etc. it was already cold or for sure not hot. But I can't complain about variety of dishes or taste. Rooms and area around was clean and cared for. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just got back from this amazing hotel. It was better than we even expected. We arrived quite late and were greeted by the loveliest women on reception who were so accommodating, wish I’d have got their names! (they were on the late shift on 25.5.26). They made sure we knew where everything was and ensured we were able to get something to eat after our late night travels. The hotel is spotless and the rooms have been modernised to a high standard. We had a family room which had lots of space. My mum and sister stayed in a twin room which was also lovely: We went with our 4 year old son and 9 month old daughter and it was perfect for both ages . The pools are fantastic and we didn’t realise you also get access to the other pool that’s actually advertised on the Safari hotels pictures on TUI, so that was an added bonus. It never seemed overly busy and we could always get a sunbed at any pool at anytime of day. The food was great, our last day was Majorcan themed food and it was a lovely way to end the trip! I had initially wanted to book the Safari hotel but Badia Park was slightly better price for us but I did have a wander onto their complex one day and honestly think Badia Park is better - less busy and better pools in my opinion! The kids club is not ran by TUI so there is a mixture of languages but it didn’t bother my 4 year old who actually made friends with a little boy from Germany. Extremely hard working and friendly staff across the hotel. I’ve already told all my friends with kids about it and I think it will be the first time I return to a resort as it was just so perfect for the kids including a free trip to the farm and free mini golf. We didn’t manage to get booked into one of the restaurants however we only fancied the Italian which I think was the most popular and was always full - the others seemed to have space when we looked. The beach is a short walk away and was beautiful. The town itself is a typical resort with fun things to do for kids. We also took a evening out to Artà which was about 20 mins away and was stunning.
