ROBINSON CALA SERENA

Robinsons Cala Serena was the first sport/leisure club we have ever tried and it will not be the last following a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable stay. We booked a deluxe room intially but were upgraded to another beautiful room due to a minor issue. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay and very respectful. Both rooms had marvellous bathrooms, beds, modern faciltiies, the wardrobe space was very large, my partner said it was probably the best room he had ever stayed in. Robinsons have really thought about the needs of their guests with many different touches in relation to the room, the grounds, the facilities and preferences. The water filling stations were brilliant, the laundrette, the private beach area, the adults only area for dining, all these touches just enabled us to be completely comfortable and relaxed within a matter of hours. The grounds and gardens were kept very clean and well maintained. I liked the design of how they located the blocks of accommodation, where the entrances are to the rear of the building and the main walkways are distanced from the rooms to create a quiet and peaceful retreat. The restaurant area and main entertainment buildings are impeccable, vey beautiful and very tastefully designed. The food and service of the food again is very well thought out to reduce waste and over indulgence. The food is very healthy, fresh and incredibly tasty. The drinks are all high quality. There is no fast food or low quality dishes, it is all of a high standard. Robinsons is not cheap, and you certainly get what you pay for. The actual location is stunning and you are able to jump or climb down into the waters between Cala Ferrera and Cala Serena. I used the watersports centres paddleboards on 2 occasions and thoroughly enjoyed my sessions out on the sea. It was good value at 15 euros for 90 minutes. The staff were all very polite, attentive and happy to help, always said hello whenever you passed by. The entertainment was very good in the main area. We would have particpated in more sports activities had it not been scorching hot weather, however we did attend the body art class, the gym and the sea jogging, again very knowledgeable and fit teachers, who were very experienced and could lead a group exceptionally. I cannot say there is much if anything that could be improved upon - perhaps a soap dish in the shower?? :) We usually stay at adults only hotels, however the children at the resort were all very well behaved, there were a couple of times a few kiddies sneaked into the adults only dining area, however the staff did address them so that they knew for next time. Overall a very enjoyable, pleasant stay with a high level of detail which has been finely tuned to create a respectful and wonderful resort to meet the needs of a multitude of guests, I would like to try out another Robinsons Club that hopefully offers wingfoiling as an activity, that would be a cherry on the top. We most certainly would come back to Cala Serena again. Well done Robinsons, a very very nice holiday. Thank you.

One of a group of 7 tennis playing ladies, we had a fantastic time at this hotel recently. The check in at reception was the only stumbling block - rather longwinded and disorganised but after that everything was just great! The breakfast, lunch and dinner were of a high quality, the resort was very clean, the tennis courts were a good standard, the little beach bar was a great late afternoon spot, the two small Cala beaches either side were sandy, the marina of Cala d'Or was not far away and despite being the only English people staying, we were made to feel very welcome by staff and the mainly German guests there. A shout out to Sol and Mar - two lovely waiting on staff. Also to Fabian who was a guest DJ that week - bring him back!! And to Donata, the physio who gave a pulled muscle an amazing sports massage.

As always I was happy as I do know what to expect. Think, it was my 5th or 6th visit to cala serena? Food has improved. Staff in the restaurant is a bit tense as there was a lot to do ( fully booked). All other staff as always very kind. Dancing in the bar started at 9.30h and the kids were tolerated for a while. All in all a few happy days🙏🏻

Had one of the best stays for my mother’s in laws birthday on Mallorca and the team contributed massively to a great celebration. The team arround Tina, Natalie and Julia did a great job and helped us organise everything, ranging from a seperate dining spot, to a pre celebration and a lot of attention. We felt very welcome and looked after during the entire stay and enjoyed every single second. The food and service is amzing and highly recommendable for single, families and everyone who wants to have a great holiday.

I spent one week with my wife ende of June 24. Below some feedback: We spent a wonderful vacation in Mallorca at cala serena The location of the club is marvellous - the bay cala serena really awesome, besides some jelly fish. (minor) Location/Housing: We were at the housing near the diving center. The house was very modern and of high quality. We felt perfect and it was a nice stay. The soft mattress was exchanged by a harder one without complaints. The room service was perfect and the room was clean. Very quite location - perfect sleep. The village resembles a genuine small village in Mallorca. Very stylish and nice- not like a big hotel. The wellness house is also spacious and modern. The beach is small and the relaxing chairs were on top of the rock to overlook the bay. Really a special place. The Food was perfect, especially for so many guests. The coffee was a dream ! A small village cala d'or is nearby and offers a strolling in the evening. Public Bus services are available to get out of the club or a motorbike/car rental agency is nearby. Sports Arena: The Sports arena is spacious and offers many sports. I loved the tennis, beach volley. The cycling services could be improved, e.g. half day rent. Entertainment: The EM Football tournament was going on, so little other evening entertainment was offered. A live band to dance every evening would be nice. The shows were really a nice try, but not professional enough for a Robinson club. The diving center is nice and Armin does a great job (we did a snorkling tour) Staff: All staff members very friendly and helpful in any way. Improvement areas: For a Robinson Club, I expect at least the non-alcoholic, beer, housewine beverages to be included. Compared to other Robinson clubs this seems to be too picky. The entertainment in the evening need improvement for a Robinson club. I love Sports and Football, but some live Music would be nice. Overall: Cala Serena Robinson was a nice stay, but regarding the price/service ratio, I can only rate a 4 star. I know the European cost structure is different than for instance a Robinson Nobilis in Belek, but please include more service in the price, and raise the total cost if needed. As a guest I love an all inclusive arrangement and don't wanna pay 15 Euros for 4 Tennis balls. I hope you understand. The hotel director(s) very friendly and helpful as well. It seems they are taking care of the staff - great ! We loved the stay and eventually will come again. Regards p.s. I always try to give an honest and transparent feedback ;-)
