Doubletree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel and Residences

If you are traveling with a baby or toddler, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. We chose the DoubleTree M Square for a 3-day, 2-night family getaway specifically because they advertise a ‘temperature-controlled’ kids' pool. It was a total lie. The water is cold because the pool is trapped in permanent deep shade (see my photo). As a result, our 1-year-old child spent 2 out of our 3 days stuck inside the hotel room because the primary amenity we paid for was physically unusable. What is even more insulting is the management’s response. We complained to the Duty Manager multiple times, but they simply repeated the same scripted excuses and did absolutely nothing to fix the temperature or offer any form of service recovery. A 'Family-Friendly' Hilton property should know that an 1 year old cannot swim in a freezing, shaded pool. For a 5-star experience while providing a 0-star facility is unacceptable. We feel completely misled and ignored. Save your money and stay at a hotel that actually delivers on its promises to families.

were at the Dubai airport on 28 March when all flights were cancelled. Emirates Airways sent us to this hotel, room and all meals free of charge for as long as it took to get a flight home. Consequently our 10 day holiday turned into 3 weeks, 11 days of which, were spent at the Doubletree. I want to thank all the staff we met, as they couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The hotel room was lovely and the meals amazing, it’s a dry hotel, but we used a lovely bar across the street. I would like particularly to mention Shubhange on reception and Alex at the pool bar, both of whom went out of their way to be helpful, but all the staff were lovely.

I proposed to my wife in Dubai two years ago, so when it came time to celebrate our anniversary, there was really only one city we wanted to return to. We ended up booking 12 nights at DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel and Residences, and although our stay didn’t begin the way we had hoped, it ultimately became one of the most memorable trips we’ve taken. Our first room had a few issues, but what truly stood out was how quickly and sincerely the team responded. Davang, the night manager, stepped in that same evening with genuine empathy and urgency. He didn’t just listen, he took action and completely reset the tone of our stay. From that point forward, Gizem Yıldız, the front office manager, made a point of checking in with us and ensuring everything was going smoothly. Even after we checked out, the new General Manager, Ms. Elif Yazoglu, personally reached out to follow up. That kind of accountability from the top is rare in hospitality, and it left a lasting impression on both of us. Once everything was sorted out, we really began to appreciate the property. The hotel has a striking industrial chic design that somehow feels both modern and welcoming at the same time. Our room featured floor to ceiling windows with sweeping views across the city. We booked half board, which includes breakfast and dinner, and ended up eating every day at the hotel’s main restaurant, The Spice Tree. The food genuinely surprised us in the best way. Over nearly two weeks we were able to try Indian and Arabic dishes we had never experienced before, alongside comforting classics like lasagna and pizza. What impressed us most was that the menu changed regularly, so even after 12 nights it never felt repetitive. Subhash and Prakarti in the kitchen and dining area deserve special mention because their warmth and attentiveness made every meal feel like something to look forward to rather than just another hotel buffet. During the trip I also discovered the Soul Senses Spa and ended up going back twice. Alem, who is originally from Kerala, gave me two of the best massages I have ever had. The treatment rooms are peaceful and beautifully maintained, and Alem clearly takes real pride in her work. If you are staying more than a few nights, it is absolutely worth booking a session. Most afternoons we found ourselves unwinding at the adults only rooftop pool on the 19th floor, taking in the skyline with a drink in hand. What made the experience even better were the lifeguards, who had our towels ready, chairs arranged, and umbrellas set up every single day, always with a genuine smile. It may sound like a small detail, but after 12 days that kind of quiet, consistent hospitality is exactly what stays with you. There is also a separate family pool on a lower level for guests traveling with children. The location is another major advantage. BurJuman Mall is right next door with plenty of dining and shopping options, the metro is just a short walk away which makes the rest of the city easy to explore, and there is a supermarket two minutes away for everyday essentials. The hotel also offers self parking and complimentary valet, which made getting around even easier. We came to Dubai to celebrate something deeply personal, and despite a rocky start, the people at this hotel made sure that is exactly what we were able to do. That meant more to us than we can easily put into words, and we would absolutely consider returning.

Everything very good, room service cleanness, breakfast variety, reception desk everyone has been fantastic especially Yassine, rue, Hanna manager and Varun, careline team very respectable. Thank you so much. The room choice is nice. The ambiance of the property in the middle of the city which is good location always recommend to my friends and my family to at least stay one night and definitely will be coming back.
