EKHO Surf Bentota

Krásné ubytování, milá obsluha, dobré jídlo. Hned u krásné a dlouhé písečné pláže. Příjemné recepční Rashmi a Shalika. Moc se nám tu líbilo, vše nám chutnalo a mají tu celkem dobrý výběr nápojů. Pláž je ideální na procházky a koupání ve vlnách. Dokonce jsme viděli želvy na pláži.

I had a prepaid, confirmed booking at this hotel for 11.07.2026. However, when I arrived at the hotel on that day, the manager informed me that no room was available and escorted my wife and me to another hotel in Aluthgama. This alternative hotel was not of our choice, as we had to travel by boat to reach it. Upon checking in, the staff at the hotel assured us that we would be accommodated for two days on a half-board basis as compensation for the inconvenience caused. Although the situation was already unpleasant, we accepted the arrangement in good faith. However, after just one night's stay, the Manager of Echo Surf Hotel telephoned us and requested that we vacate the hotel immediately, at very short notice. The series of events, from the moment we arrived at Echo Surf Hotel, was extremely unpleasant, stressful, and highly inconvenient. As a result, what was intended to be a relaxing stay in Bentota turned into a complete disaster.

Good atmosphere, good food, nice service

Excellent location. You can walk to the beach in 2 minutes, comfortable large rooms. Mr Siva, Ms Maleesha, Mr Gayan were very courteous and friendly. Food was tantalising our pallets The only down side was didn't have a clothes hook to hang clothes in the bathroom. Keep up the Exko Hospitality! Looking forward to going back very soon
