Beautiful hotel , really clean our room was spotless Couple of recommendations though lots of food but nothing went together. Possibly some theme nights for food. More seats for bars at night time , another bar would be great at the bottom of the hotel. Some alcohol free lager would be good 👍. Staff were excellent 👌 and would like to give a special mention to Walid Ben Abdllah our waiter for 14 days he was was amazing nothing was to much effort for him , lovely man. Excellent at his job. Had a lovely time would I go back Probably not too quiet for us.

Based on some of the reviews I’ve seen, I think this hotel is quite underrated. But it’s not perfect and I’m not suggesting 5 stars means absolutely perfect but overall I think it does nudge into the 5 star territory. The hotel grounds itself including its specific location are lovely. They are cared for and well maintained. It gives the feeling of a 5 star hotel. Loved our room too - very comfortable, always cleaned really well, was a lovely base for our stay. In terms of during the day, there are a decent amount of bathing options on the grounds together with a private beach to enjoy. I do hate the fact that you need to get your towels down early to get the spot you want but that’s resorts for you. The food generally pretty consistent - not always labelled well but of a good quality. The range isn’t huge but there is plenty enough to choose from. The cocktails and drinks did let things down a bit - they just didn’t feel premium. We loved the Italian restaurant but the Tunisian one wasn’t for us. We wish we got a bit of choice with that restaurant and maybe we are just a bit fussy with our food preferences. But the staff are absolutely lovely! I will say, we did tip after meals and when we had good service - we were told that it’s appreciated when we were being taken to the hotel and I think the staff reflected this with the way they looked after us. Possibly the biggest negatives would be there isn’t actually a lot to do at the hotel so if you get bored easily, you may want to consider an excursion. With this I also think the evening entertainment was limited. But I do think these are minor negatives that didn’t detract from our stay. We had a great time!

If there were a Hall of Fame for bartenders, Idris would have his own wing. From the moment you sit down, Idris makes you feel like a VIP. His cocktails are flawless, his recommendations are always spot-on, and somehow he remembers exactly what everyone likes. Whether you’re ordering something classic or asking for a custom creation, he delivers perfection every single time. But what truly sets Idris apart is his personality. Friendly, charismatic, professional, and genuinely passionate about his craft, he turns a simple drink into an experience. The atmosphere around his bar is always welcoming, lively, and fun because of the energy he brings. I’ve met many bartenders, but Idris is in a league of his own. If humanity ever has to choose one person to represent bartending excellence, the choice is obvious. Idris isn’t just a bartender—he’s the bartender. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 10 nights and I had a fantastic time. Hotel is great value for money and in my opinion the staff are worthy of the five stars alone. Not quite luxury but let’s be honest you get what you pay for. Each member of staff very friendly and extremely hard working they all give 100% to make your stay a memorable one and for me they did exactly that. Room was massive and cleaned daily with some lovely extra touches by the maid creating swans and hearts with towels and petals ❤️. I had booked a room with a sea view and it was lovely to sit out in the evening and just take in the view with a glass of wine. Bed was so comfortable and it was massive. I could have quite easily got lost in it the size of me. I didn’t want a lively hotel or somewhere over crowded I wanted somewhere to relax and unwind and Royal Azur certainly ticked all the boxes. Entertainment was a bit poor if I’m honest but the interaction with evening staff and guests made up for that they were such good fun sorry can’t remember names. Sun loungers are never a problem although being an early riser has its advantages of first choice. Staff at pool were fabulous again can’t remember names sorry but I was well looked after with towels and umbrellas when needed. Food at buffet was good with plenty choice and well varied throughout my stay definitely something for everyone. On that note a huge thanks to Walid at breakfast and lunch and also Walid who did dinner never an empty glass their service was exceptional. Mohammed at pool/terrace again exceptional service bringing my drinks/snacks throughout the day. Thanks royal azure you made my holiday a very memorable one definitely a 10/10 from me ❤️
