Orfeus Armin Hotel

I had reservations about staying here after reading some of the reviews. We have just returned from a 10 day stay. Like all of all inclusive option stays, there are good and bad to all hotels. The hotel staff are very friendly The spa is really good and decent price The room we have was quite small lacking in storage but ok However,we didnt get cleaning. There is a light to turn on for cleaners. We left on for 3 days. No clean towels, overflowing bin, no replacement water or tea and coffee. We went to reception on more than 1 occasion to request clean towels, We had been there a week by the time we got any. On the plus side, aircon is free and you can get wifi in your room There are plenty of sunbeds at the pool and at the beach and there are no sunbed wars !!. The only downside, the music is so loud and thet play " club" music. The average age around the pool was 50 +. Myself and other people repeatedly turned the music down after the "entertainment " guy left for the sister hotels. There is no entertainment at night but you can go to the sister hotels for that The food was worse than expected. Everything was cold and so repetitive. For example. Soup, Chicken wings, stew, chips onion rings and wedges was served at lunch then brought out again in the evening. It was never warm and there was no microwave. Down at the beach was just as bad with cold chips ,wedges. Poorly cooked burgers and recycled chicken from previous evenings dinner. We also found mould on more than one of the burger buns. TBF she did throw them away but only had frozen ones to replace them with.The burgers are deep fried but not for long enough, they were still raw in the middle. We stopped eating in this hotel and took a walk to the sister hotels up the road ( Orfeus Queen and Orfues Park ) The food is far superior in those 2 hotels. Without them we would have starved and we are not by any means picky eaters. The pool bar is the only bar but do have a decent selection of drinks and there is never a big queue. On the whole we made the most of the holiday and did enjoy ourselves . Its just a few things that let this hotel down

Stayed for a week. Staff are lovely have to say nice issues their, very pleasant and helpful (special shout out to the lovely girl who done the pool bar on the mornings from the 15th to 21st) you are one of the best :) The rooms were grand though the blackness to the bottom of my feet walking from the shower to the room would tell me maybe a better mop. Cleaners were lovely and the art with towels was wonderful :) Pool area is amazing everything I needed to relax :) and a very short distance to the bar :) snacks aren’t great though as there is no snack restaurant as shown in the pictures. There is a few biscuits etc inside but nothing much to shout home about. A few resident cats- and there fab (local supermarket does sell cat food) Food. I can honestly say this is why it’s 4 stars. It just wasn’t nice at all. Chips were hard, and nothing went with anything. I do feel the hotel maybe caters more towards polish etc rather than British but even then the food wasn’t wonderful. I really hope the hotel sorts that as would be great to return. Given the poor food we ended up going to a few restaurants about 10 minutes away. We never tried the spa and regret not trying as the reviews from others seemed great. I think for what we paid it was good minus the food which just really lets the hotel down. The staff are lovely, the hotel is nice, and the alcohol is great. All in all a wonderful holiday- thank you :)

We travelled to Orfeus Armin this year, end of May, season not yet started as there was a few guests. We had no expectation, but we were really positively suprised. Hotel is small, but 4 minutes of walk away from beach. Hotel was renovated fully, everything is new. Hotel room was spacious and clean, bathroom the same. Cleaning was done daily with fresh sets of towels and bed set. Food was good, but for a few days we had almost the same choice (Fish or chicken). I suppose in the season it can be better, but nevertheless it was always fresh and tasty. A lot of choice for vege people plus local cousine. The staff was really nice and helpfull. Bar was open until midnight. Music was played quite loud even at night, but with closed balcony it was not that distracting. The hotel had 2 beach bars, one close to the hotel was open on our last day. It was smaller, but calmer. Lunch was served with pizza and burgers at the beach plus all drinks. You can use other Orfeus hotels animations (like piana party or disco night) but we never went as we chose peace at hotel bar. The pool was nice and quite big. You can always find a free sunbed. We used hotel spa for Hamam massage - we recommend it, do it at beginning of the stay! In overall we are really happy to chose this hotel - it was small, but very accurate for us. Great plus for +16 only, so you can rest. The price we paid is for sure worth it ;) The hotel is one of the smallest in the area, so if you look for rest and reset it is the best choice. We for sure recommend the stay here!

I booked an all inclusive deal through On The Beach, the photos looked amazing but then upon checking Trip Advisor, I saw some daunting reviews. We have had such a positive experience!! On arrival, two gents greeted us from our transfer and helped us inside with our bags. The staff member at reception was super helpful with check in and showing us to our room. The room itself was spotless. Everything is modern and recently renovated. Air conditioning was a must (included in the price of the room!), the water pressure was great and the water was always hot. Rooms cleaned daily, housekeeping staff are excellent! They’re so respectful and attentive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main restaurant which is spacious and clean. The food is buffet style and there is a great selection so everyone can find something they like. Generally about 5 or 6 hot options with hot sides, then plenty of salad, dips, fruit, bread and desserts. Also ice cream by the pool every day! The service staff are exceptional, they remember every person and their favourite drinks. So friendly and attentive. We would absolutely recommend Orfeus Armin to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

My family and I stayed at Orfeus Armin Hotel (Adults Only 16+) in Çolaklı, Side from 15–20 May 2026 (booking OTBH2541565). I am writing this as a mother who was personally targeted and left feeling threatened. The problems started on arrival when the manager offered a fake “free upgrade” for a tip. When we refused he was hostile for the whole week. On the first night we saw a woman being badly beaten. Security did nothing and even laughed with the boyfriend. We called the police twice, but the hotel forced the woman to stay with her attacker and later threatened my son with arrest at 2:30am. Security staff were seen openly using cannabis in the lobby and one was so intoxicated he abandoned the camera room. Food was disgusting – only burgers and chips daily. Drinks were terrible. The entertainment man stared at the women in our family in a very uncomfortable way and asked for social media details. On our last morning the manager shouted at us for eating in the lobby (where we had eaten all week) and called us “English idiots”. He then chased me personally, shouting highly abusive and insulting language at me and demanding a €50 fee he was not entitled to. He followed us to the transfer point and tried to split money with the driver. When his card machine failed the transfer left us behind. My son took photos of the manager and security; they became aggressive and threatened to have us arrested at the airport. This was one of the most stressful and upsetting holidays I have ever had. The hotel put guests at risk and showed zero professionalism. We have reported everything to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and On The Beach. Strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel.
