Selectum Family Resort Side

Came on my own with my two daughters. The whole resort was lovely, only issue we had was the phone and air con didn’t work (or I didn’t know how to work it) but wasn’t an issue as we didn’t need to use it. We had an amazing stay, all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My daughter was unfortunately bit by a stray cat and the doctor on site treated us immediately, provided hospital transport there and back and had someone with us at all times, on arrival back to the hotel we were greeted and asked how everything went, if we needed anything bringing to our room such as food etc. the next morning we were gifted a fruit basket and a get well soon card. For our first holiday abroad as a solo parent, this hotel went above and beyond and I couldn’t have been happier for their support. Lovely food, very clean too.

Hotel was too crowded for the amount of facilities that were open which was only a few with no clear guidance on opening times. We were given an “upgrade” to a lake house room which in our opinion wasn’t an upgrade due to it being up three flights of stairs, air con not working and the bathroom window not closing. None of the bars around us were open so it was a trek to the main building to get food or drinks. Inside the main building there were not enough bars open and therefore it was often a long wait to be served. Food was good but food all too busy most of the time Tried several times to get in the à la carte but there seemed to be a language barrier at guest services (which we didn’t feel helpful when trying to resolve issues. ) and several times we were told to come back later, another day to book only to be told it was full yet other families had bookings for two consecutive evenings. I can see that when everything is open it would be a nice place to stay, was certainly very clean. We wouldn’t be back as we like to walk to local bars and restaurants for a change and there is nothing in the surrounding areas

Our family holiday with my husband, sister daughter and our 4 grandchildren. This hotel is amazing so much for families. Lots of spaces to be together. The food hall was very good. The staff porters, catering, everyone were very helpful, especially the Manager Burak Gunes and the Guest Relations are so very helpful. It was my sisters birthday and they made her feel special. Okay honestly, we just had the BEST week at Selectum Family Resort Side in Turkey 🤩 It was the first time my sister and I tried this hotel (we usually go to Turkey several times a year and normally stay somewhere else), but we are SO happy we chose this place this time because we will 100% be coming back! The hotel is really beautiful, has an amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and overall it’s just a place where you feel comfortable all the time. But seriously… the main reason I’m even writing this review is Ahmet from the bar!!
He honestly made our whole vacation so much better. Always smiling, always in a good mood, and really good at making people feel welcome. We actually looked forward to going to the bar because we knew Ahmet would be there ❤️ He’s really funny, super sweet, and just someone who spreads good energy to everyone around him. A staff member like that truly makes a huge difference! We’ve already booked again!! And we’re SO excited to come back, and we really hope Ahmet is still working there when we return 🤞 Can definitely recommend!!! ☀️

Very good point for holiday I very nice stafff and service kind people we are came with family but we enjoy it Turkish. Amam and massage is very amazing this holiday is wonderful 🌷🌷👌
