Hotel Lubjana

Druhá cesta po Albánii nás zavedla jsem, tento hotel jsme si vyhlídli při té první. Je náhlavní ulici s výhledem na moře. Pokoje prostorné a na místní poměry moderně zařízené. Koupelna s kosmetikou a kartáčky na zuby, pantofle. Ráno se podává snídaně, každý si vybere.

Celkově velmi příjemný pobyt. Hotel byl velmi moderní a svěží. Místnost byla opravdu pěkná. Zahrnutá snídaně byla v pořádku, ale špatný výběr. Personál byl velmi přátelský a ochotný, ale někdy to bylo trochu těžké komunikovat v angličtině.

It was truly wonderful. The hotel wasn't large, and that was exactly what we wanted, because the people working there and the guests were like family. The hotel was very clean. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd like to say hello to Walentyna and Krystian at the front desk, as well as all the waitresses (I don't know their names, unfortunately 😒), but I do know Sala's name (if I spelled it correctly 😀), a very nice waiter. I also want to say hello to all the chefs. The food was wonderful, and I also wanted to say a big thank you to the owner, who was very helpful during dinner when there were a lot of guests. He personally made sure we lacked for nothing. I truly recommend this hotel. I will remember this hotel warmly and very pleasantly. 👍

Hotel is clean, some of the staff are friendly, however food is awful. On arrival, dinner wasn’t served as the buffet as advertised, it was a set menu which nothing on there was appetising. Breakfast was basic and dinner was basic with no flavours. We had to ring everyday for tea and sugar as never topped up.

I stayed at Hotel Lubjana in Durres from 28 September to 2 October 2025. I received a warm welcome and my hotel room was lovely, very clean and spacious. Breakfast was included in my package and there was a good variety of choices for someone, like myself, who is vegetarian. I would like to particularly mention two of the staff who were there in the mornings, Rem and Salah. They were friendly, had a ready smile, and were very accommodating and went the extra mile. It helped to make my stay more memorable. I gave a 4 star 🌟 only because on the last evening I decided to have dinner at the hotel. The bruschetta was good as was the salad. The soup was lukewarm. But the mains was disappointing, in fact I took 2 mouthfuls and couldn't finish it. They prepared double cheese risotto for me. When it was brought to me I was immediately put off and the taste test confirmed how it looked (a bit like sick on a plate). But I didn't let that mar my overall experience at the hotel which was good. And I would recommend it as a place to stay and it is conveniently located not far from the beach.
