Hotel Lubjana

Celkově velmi příjemný pobyt. Hotel byl velmi moderní a svěží. Místnost byla opravdu pěkná. Zahrnutá snídaně byla v pořádku, ale špatný výběr. Personál byl velmi přátelský a ochotný, ale někdy to bylo trochu těžké komunikovat v angličtině.

Reception: Friendly and very efficient and exceptionally friendly staff Room / facilities: Room number 208 is on floor 2 and is very clean. We stayed 1 night Self control air conditioning with a door that opens to the balcony, however the air con did not really cool the room sufficiently. The room has 2 very comfortable single beds, bench and seat, hanging area, safe , hot water hug, coffee cups and glasses (but no tea or coffee), mini fridge, phone, flat screen TV, walk in shower, which when showering water goes everywhere in the bathroom. Parking: is available but is limited to about 10 cars in the off street open air park area at the rear of the hotel Wifi: Complementary and good speed. Validation or password required. Breakfast: Available for all guests and consists of a small buffet, with the bonus of fresh egg products being cooked to order. Refill of the food was very slow as many foods were empty when we arrived at 9.00 am Conclusion: Fantastic hotel for an overnighter or a few days stay. I would recommend this Hotel. Letdowns: Lack of tea and coffee in the room. Location / Nearby: Town, the promenade, restaurants… Recommendations: Ask for a rear room as you will get street noise until midnight Getting to hotel: If arriving by car, best use GPS. Be aware that GPS took us down some “odd” so called streets, or took us to dead end streets. Be careful when using GPS and don’t fully trust the GPS in Albania.

We stayed at Hotel Lubjana as a couple in April 2025. Location of the hotel is good, in Durrës. We stayed in room 402 which was a generous size room, with balcony. Nice big bathroom with walk in shower, couldn’t fault it. Our room was clean and was cleaned everyday throughout our stay by the amazing cleaning team, the hotel was spotless everyday too. The food at breakfast was included and was brilliant, a great choice of hot, cold and pasties etc, something for everybody including fresh fruit etc. The staff on both breakfast and throughout the hotel were amazing, all well trained, polite, knowledgable and consistent. The manager of the hotel was also incredibly friendly and little things like lending us a travel adapter on our first day went a long way for first impressions. We also benefited from their shuttle service, collection from Tirana airport to the hotel was on time organised by the hotel, cost €30 and the driver was on time waiting for us with our name on the paper. We also benefited from the shuttle service throughout our time and would strongly recommend using it, just €5 return to Duress central area and we also went on our own private excursions to Krujë and Berat, Berat was our favourite and we’d strongly recommend it. Lastly I have to mention how good the food was in the restaurant of Hotel Lubjana, usually when I travel to Europe the last thing I’d do is eat at my hotel because I like to explore, but the reviews of this place where good so we thought we’d try. By a mile the food at Hotel Lubjana restaurant was the tastiest food we had in Albania. I’d strongly recommend it and in truth, if we had tried the food there on day one we probably would have ate there again throughout our stay. The evening staff, restaurant manager and waitresses were all so lovely and friendly and well trained. We would totally recommend Hotel Lubjana. Thank you.

This hotel was good, clean and in a good location. Yes it is on a busy road but the sea is literally a stone throw away with loads of cafe bars, 3 supermarkets within 2 minutes and money exchange opposite. Beds are comfortable and really large rooms and level shower rooms. Lift too which is a bonus. Maid service was fantastic and the lady who asks daily how everything is and if you need anything made it more personal. We will be returning with the kids and if there was any minor criticism I would say the reception staff could seem very slightly stand off ish but we were fine as it could be a language thing. The restaurant could improve its breakfast and try to offer some wider range also but again we was fine with it, just a British opinion in a place where we didn’t meet many British but we do like eggs anyway. The whole area is up and coming and pretty sure in a few years things will be different again as it’s clearly got potential to become mega tourist style. Was out of season but still busy. Big thumbs up from us !

The hotel is great, new and well-kept, everywhere is very clean and beautiful. The rooms are equipped with good air conditioning and a fridge, and there are great curtains thanks to which you can sleep well even during the day because the sun does not dazzle :) in the evenings and during the day there is a beautiful view from the balcony. The restaurant is also great, the smoothie was delicious but the best was the new dish with veal ribs and mushroom risotto, it was the best thing I ate in Durres!!! The service in this hotel is at the highest level, they speak excellent English, everyone is very nice and incredibly cultured, they are constantly smiling and take care of every guest, I have never met such nice and friendly people in my country. I recommend it with all my heart!!!!❤️
