Secrets Sunny Beach Resort & Spa

Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly, professional and always happy to help. The only exception was the pool towel attendants, who were rude—one even shouted at us when we asked to exchange our towels. Food: We couldn't fault the food. The quality, variety and quantity were excellent, with something for everyone at every meal. The themed restaurants (Bulgarian, Asian, Italian and Seafood) were all great. Just be aware they close at 9pm, so don't book a late reservation. The Bulgarian and Asian restaurants are in the Dreams hotel and offer buffets, while the Italian and Seafood restaurants are set menus. Location: Perfect if you want to be away from the nightlife but still close enough to enjoy it. It's around a 10-minute walk to the shops and restaurants, with plenty more along the promenade. The bus to Nessebar stops right outside the hotel, costs just €1.50 each way and is very easy to use. The marina is about a 30-minute walk or a short bus ride away. Hotel amenities: The gym was clean and well-equipped. The spa was lovely but expensive, as was the on-site shop. We didn't use the nightclub or indoor pool, but the indoor pool looked clean and spacious. Room (Junior Suite): Spacious, spotless and well-equipped with a kettle, free stocked minibar, fridge with space for your own items and a safe (although there were no instructions on how to use it). Pools: Multiple clean pools with plenty of well-spaced sunbeds. We also loved that food wasn't allowed around the pools, which kept the area clean and free from insects. Negatives: We were told room cards would be checked for drinks, restaurants and re-entering from the beach, but this rarely happened, making it seem easy for non-guests to access the facilities. Also, some guests vaped in the non-smoking areas without staff taking action.

A wonderful place for a truly relaxing holiday! The location is excellent - the hotel is set right on the beach in a quieter part of Sunny Beach, offering peace and tranquility while still being close enough to the resort center for a pleasant walk. The service is outstanding. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making every guest feel genuinely valued. Everything is impeccably clean, well organized, and professionally managed. The hotel provides everything needed for a perfect getaway: spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful swimming pools, direct beach access, delicious and varied food, and a calm, adults-only atmosphere. It is the perfect place to disconnect from everyday life and simply relax. I would gladly return to Secrets Sunny Beach Resort & Spa and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, exceptional service, and a peaceful holiday.

My favorite hotel on the Black Sea! Every summer we visit it a couple of times, and it never disappoints. The entire hotel is always clean and well maintained. The buffet offers a great variety of delicious food, and I especially enjoy the themed dinner nights. The beach is my favorite among all the hotel beaches I've visited. The staff always respond quickly to our requests and are friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel relaxing atmosphere spotless throughout food very good rooms are comfortable and good view the noise levels are quite quiet the pool is massive and good for swimming the service is very good the only problem is the sun beds they are very low and quite hard no mattresses so if you’re oldish getting up and down can be a problem you can also use the hotel next door and there’s a preferred option but to me for what you got it’s not worth the extra but overall good holiday would go back

We have had a great one week holiday at Secrets Sunny Beach Resort, arriving 20/6/26 leaving today on 27/6/26. Our room was a double delux sea view room which looked out over pool / sea (there were loads of solar panels directly below and baby seagulls x 3). The room was clean and beds huge and comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily and had spa type toiletries. It was really large and perfectly fine. Only issue we had was a locked safe which we reported and nobody came to fix it. Talking to other guests they had the same issue with locked safes. We were on 3rd floor and used lifts to get about to ground floor and lower ground floor for pool. Lifts were busy so we did use stairs a few times. The food was pretty good at the buffet in the Market Cafe, it seemed to improve in terms of being warmer the later the week went on. First day or two the food was lukewarm. Excellent salads and huge variety of food on offer. Fresh grapefruit and orange slices were delicious. We enjoyed the soups and bread rolls for a starter. Really good. Also enjoyed fresh jumbo prawns and pastas etc. The ice creams were also amazingly tasty. We booked three al la carte restaurants for Tuesday-Thursday. First one was Oceana the sea food restaurant. Lovely fresh fish and prawn dishes. Second was Asian restaurant next door which was ok. Great beef dish, overcooked salmon dish. Lots of kids in that hotel so noisy! Third restaurant was the Italian and that was excellent. Had veal. In terms of pool area, pools were gorgeously cold and refreshing. Sunbeds were uncomfortable if lying on front or side due to metal bar. Ok if facing forwards. We did a bus to Nessebar for 1.50 euros directly outside hotel across street, bus no 5.
