Where do I start, we got home a couple of days ago after staying here for 9 nights. We went for my mum’s 75th birthday and travelled as a family of 5 (4 adults and 1 child 4yrs old) We had a private transfer from the airport shared with another couple. When we got to the hotel we were blown away. The reception area/lobby was stunning and immaculate. Greeted by a glass of fizz and a cute teddy keyring for our daughter, check in was quick and easy and luggage was taken to our rooms for us. We headed to the late night snack bar as it was around 10pm by the time we got to our rooms. There are fridges filled with sandwiches, poke bowls, granola pots, fruit, sweets, cakes etc We have paid extra to upgrade our rooms to sea view family room and sea view double room with big balcony. Both rooms were gorgeous and spacious and had everything needed. Mini fridge is filled with water, beer, coke and fanta and replenished daily free of charge. Lavazza coffee machine in room with pods replenished daily was a nice wake up coffee on the balcony. The pools were brilliant, the main pool does feel slightly cooler than the kids pools but it’s nice to cool down in when the sun has been shining all day. The kids pool was brilliant , shallow enough and shaded in parts so they could play all day in it. The slides weee a huge hit , on the first day our daughter was a little scared to go down but by the end of the holiday she was going down the big green one by herself! We love them as a family a great break off from sunbathing for an hour. The food was incredible, you literally could never go hungry. Main restaurant had so much selection. Breakfast you could get a full English, yoghurt and granola, fruit, kefir drink, chia seed pots made up, pastries. Lunch there was always something different but with staples being kept the same. Evening meal was themed each night so it didn’t get repetitive. Snack bar was just as big as the restaurant and was handy to grab a ready made chicken or beef burger or a wrap or even just ice cream. Drinks were top quality. I usually only drink wine but found myself ordering cocktails to try and the espresso martini was gorgeous! We found out a couple of the stalls/food and drinks places weren’t open until 15th June as that is prime season out there but whilst there they opened up some of them early which made the holiday even better. There was a grab and go for ice creams, magnum style, mango lollies, cones with ice cream you could just help yourself too. A slush bar which were delicious. A gelato ice cream bar with fresh quality flavours which changed daily. You could also get milkshakes made here and a coffee on ice which did all your iced coffees. They also opened the artistan chocolate shop whilst there which offer little hand made chocolates you can just grab and take out. (Such a luxurious touch) Evening entertainment was brilliant each night from fire shows, to circus on ice, to aerial acrobats. We also nearly didn’t try the à la carte restaurant as we weren’t keen on the menu but we decided to give it a go on our last night and WOW. The meals were like Michelin star restaurant quality. 5 courses and the staff were just incredible! The wine in there was also a lot higher quality than the main restaurant. We had a card put through our door from Tony (guest relations manager) to arrange a cake for my mums birthday in the restaurant and a bottle of wine in her bedroom. This was all complimentary and the cake was incredible! Chocolate and fresh cream!! If you are going for a special occasion speak to Tony he was so lovely! We had a late flight (transfer was 8pm) so we paid extra to keep a room. It’s 50 euros until 3pm and 100euros until 6pm. It meant we could enjoy all day as normal on the last day without worrying about getting wet in the pools and getting dry again. I feel this hotel deserves to be 6 star as it just sits head and shoulders above the rest of the hotels in the area. A quick tip- the walk to the harbour along the beaches is lovely and the harbour has some great bars restaurants there. There was a world volleyball competition on when we walked down much to our surprise! Great day out! The only feedback I could possibly give the hotel is I feel like a fridge with water bottles in could be distributed round the hotel making it easier to just grab a bottle and go like in the gym. Instead we had to wait at the bar each day to grab some (although there are water filter machines around the restaurants and bars ) we just didn’t realise it was decent water and filtrated properly until the last 2 days! We also didn’t know things would be shut or booking before 15th June but this could be a jet2 issue not advertising it properly. This is the first holiday we have genuinely been sad to go home from, usually you are ready to leave after 9 nights after things get repetitive but not here, we could have stayed another 2 weeks! Our daughter cried her eyes out on the plane. She made some lovely friends (Rosie and Layla) from other families there. We have never booked to go back to the same hotel but we will definitely be booking for next year! Miss it already.
Personál usměvavý a ochotný.
Just been with friends to celebrate a 50th birthday and couldn't fault a single experience. The hotel is very modern and clean, with really special extras such as a chocolate shop and Gelato. Food each day was amazing quality & choice. Tony the manager was lovely. Went to so much effort to make sure my friends bday was celebrated indulgently. He was super welcoming, warm and engaging. The yoga classes and aqua-areobics were great. Spa lovely. Beach clean and pretty. Very chilled and special vibe. I really can't find anything to fault - except if you were going for a lively evening, the night vibe was very quiet and chilled.
