Iberostar Herceg Novi

This hotel is a conundrum. Staff are wonderful. Service is wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Amenities are very good. Scenery and vista is extraordinary. Value for money good. However, the restaurant which is central to an all inclusive holiday is where i have issues. The selection on offer is superb. Salads and vegetables desserts soups, are excellent, but where it all let down are the cooked meats on the hot pass and the prepared hot dishes. That's the point, they aren't hot. Red meats are awful in quality and preparation if you happen to arrive later than opening time, supposed hot food is cold. It's a shame because if they fixed this issue this could be a wonderful, complete holiday location

A beautifully located hotel in a location a little bit remote from Herceg Novi. Huge plus points are the team, the cuisine, the views over the bay and the gardens. Great animation team (Omar, Nikolas, Lido, Esphir, Maria, Naz and others), and the whole bar and restaurant team (I would have to name everyone ;)). They made the holiday super. Great food. Rooms are just ok, although could be better at a 4 star hotel. Disadvantage unfortunately for families with children is the lack of lifts to the beach or restaurants. With a pram going down the stairs or climbing up the quite considerable height difference is an effort, especially in the heat. Despite some drawbacks - I would definitely recommend the hotel. A good place to go in Montenegro!

Just returned from a fabulous week here Location is amazing with stunning views from wherever you are in the hotel, it is spectacular! Food is lovely, breakfasts- you name it, they have it, not English bacon or sausage as we know it however we were not at home so no moaning. Lunches and Dinner were freshly cooked meats with an abundance of salad, veg, potatoes and some other speciality dishes - very nice !! Drinks, wine on tap, was ok, not the finest however for all inc, it was pretty decent! Decent brands for spirits, Aperol Spritz too which was very nice thank you! Rooms were very nice, clean, could not fault. Water taxi - brilliant ! 10 mins and you are in town, we took advantage and did 2trips in one day and went back in the evening which had a different vibe Town is nice for a wander, shops are full of cheap souvenirs, there are some bars (2 x nice white wines 6euros) food places Pool and beach - lots of sunbeds anytime Steps, there are plenty and kept us fit however there are lifts and a little cart that bombs around picking up and dropping off for those with difficulties however you need to climb quite a few (up and down) to the restaurant, we couldn’t see any other way in or out without those steps

One of the best destination I have been so far, in Montenegro. Calm, beautiful, clean and family oriented. Massages in Spa are great - professional, kind and supportive. Beautiful sea view, clean water by the beach, variety of food and drinks, helpful staff and great scenery. Definitely will come back again!

We visited from the 15th June for 7 nights with Jet2 as part of our daughter’s 21st birthday celebrations. The hotel is set on its own in a residential district with not much round about but the water taxi is only €15 return to the old town, the timetable is on the board near the pool where trips can be booked (we booked a day trip stopping off at various places en route to Kotor & back for €45 each & was a great day out). Our room was spacious & cleaned most days. The food was fab with plenty of choice. Our daughter is both dairy & gluten free & was well catered for, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Every member of staff went above & beyond in making our holiday special. Whether you enjoy the beach or the pool this hotel has it all. Just don’t forget your beach shoes if going in the sea. There’s lots of entertainment through the day & the entertainment staff are always popping around to try & get you involved! Would not hesitate in booking to visit again.
