We found this to be an excellent hotel. Our standard room was smart, modern, clean and very spacious. The only minor niggles we had would be the shower, which only has a glass panel, rather than a full enclosure, so it tended to leak onto the floor. Also, there are lots of led lights on fire exits and so on, so take an eye mask if lights bother you. Being in a residential area meant it was very quiet at nighttime and thanks to this and the comfortable bed and pillows, we slept well. The pool is lovely, very clean and with plenty of sunbeds, shady spots and large pool towels. There is not much of a view from anywhere in the hotel, but it's about a 25 minute walk to the coast and old town, so quite manageable. It was an easy walk to the bus station, which made it straightforward to get out and explore Montenegro by public transport. Staff were terrific - very helpful, professional and friendly and they made our stay very enjoyable. I hope Aycon recognise and rewards their staff at this hotel, because they really do make it the most enjoyable place to stay. Though the a la carte menu wasn't extensive, it was reasonably priced. We only tried pizza and salad one night, but it was good and convenient to eat at the hotel after arriving back very late. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel for those who don't want to walk as far as the beach or old town. The hotel does very good proper coffee too - even decaf! (though not at breakfast - that's from a machine and tasted like instant, though you can buy nice coffees should you wish to). We would be very happy to stay again.

Couldn’t fault this hotel, spotless, daily maid service. The staff are lovely and can not do enough onto help. The receptionist went over and above to help with trips and where to visit.

Arrived here today at the hotel Momentum in Budva. I have to say this hotel is simply stunning. Our room,in block B is so tastefully furnished. The shower is walk in and good pressure. Facilities are excellent,fridge,safe,and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. All the staff are very friendly, professional and extremely helpful. In the 7 hours since being here,the staff have booked a day excursion to Dubrovnik,a tour of Kotor,and a tour of the monastery. We had our evening meal at the hotel,and our meals were beautifully presented and very tasty and good value. When coming to stay in Budva,highly recommend you look at the hotel Momentum.

We were surprised by the number of negative reviews on this site, but after reading them, I can understand why people might be frustrated/disappointed. We loved this hotel. Budva isn’t your typical picturesque seaside town; it’s really busy with huge buildings being built on the sea front. The back of the town is just concrete. Yes this hotel has residential homes around but there is nowhere better for the location. This part of Budva is flat so wherever you stay, there will be buildings to look at. Once the pine trees at the back of the hotel pool will grown, it will have a bit more privacy. The hotel is 15 min walk from the beach and 25 min walk from the old town. Perfect stroll after diner everyday. The pool is beautiful, sun beds are clean and plenty for everyone. Going in August, we had a space every time we went to the pool. For the big beds, you just ask for one in the morning and it is yours for the day and it is free. The hotel asked that no food or drinks are brought to the pool (even bottle water) so we kept asking them for glasses of tap water, not an issue for us. The hotel offers breakfast or half board. There is no need for half board as they are hundreds of restaurants everywhere (one of our favourite family run was a 2 min walk behind the hotel). We just had breakfast which was good with a variety of choices and hot food changing daily. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they let us watch the formula one on the outdoor screen :). We brought our own food to our room one day and they let us use their crockery. Always here to help. Our room was on the fifth floor (510) in the Annexe building. We had a generous balcony with a table and chairs, facing some buildings but also the mountains. From other reviews, it seems these rooms might be better than the main buildings for balcony. The room was specious, modern and cleaned daily. Only criticism is that the air con smelled a little bit. We really enjoyed our stay.

We started here for a week at the start of UK summer holidays. Hotel was getting a little busier but not crowded by any means. Hotel and rooms are really tastefully decorated and staff are very friendly and helpful, some spoke great English others were clearly trying their best and we were grateful for that! We had B&B, found the breakfast options good, a little basic but tasty, I do think this is synonymous with food in Montenegro. The biggest negative is that it was around 25 minute walk to the main area in Budva. Not horrendous but with children, older family members and pregnant partner not ideal in 30°c heat. Hotel staff can book a taxi to the front/old town for c.4€ however the taxi rank try to rip you off coming back asking 25€?! (Someone from tourism/culture needs to address this as it's really poor)
