We stayed at this hotel as a family with our 6-year-old daughter and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The hotel has been beautifully modernised — everything feels brand new, fresh, and very well maintained. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, which was very peaceful (when my daughter wasn’t being noisy!) Our room was clean, spacious, and nicely presented. It included a large double bed and a single sofa bed, which worked perfectly for us as a family. There was also a TV, a small balcony, a walk-in shower, and convenient elevator access to the room. The pool area is large and well kept. Since we visited in April, the water was quite cold, but our daughter still managed to enjoy it for around 20–30 minutes at a time (a wetsuit definitely helped!). As mentioned in other reviews, the pool is overlooked by some residential blocks, however it didn’t cause an issue for us, once the trees at the back of the pool area start to grow, it will allow a lot more privacy. Breakfast was another highlight — there was a great selection of both hot and cold food, along with a variety of drinks. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The staff truly made the stay special. They were all friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. A special mention to Saška, who was absolutely lovely and made us feel especially welcome throughout our stay. The hotel is a little out of the way, with a decent walk to both the beach and the old town. However, we didn’t find this to be an issue — we walked it twice daily, even with our daughter, and she managed it just fine. On our last evening, we were short on time and took a taxi. The hotel recommended specific taxis, which were reasonably priced — €4 to the beach and €5 back. One thing to be aware of is road safety. Driving standards are quite different compared to the UK — cars don’t always stop at crossings, and mobile phone use while driving seems fairly common, so extra caution is needed when crossing roads. The surrounding area of Budva is absolutely stunning, with beautiful mountains, beaches, and marinas. It’s clear that a lot of investment is going into the area, with plenty of new development and architectural work underway. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to families and couples alike

An outstanding hotel, exactly what we had hoped for whilst staying in Budva. Hotel rooms and facilities were excellent, really beautiful swimming pool area for relaxing. Great choice of food at both breakfast and for other meals. What really topped off our stay was how super amazing and lovely all the staff were, every single one of them went out of their way to make our stay extra special. They provided great recommendations for meals and trips alongside a cake for my birthday!. The hotel also has a great outside screen to watch the live sports, which was brilliant for us to watch the football ⚽️. Thank you so much 🤩 we will definitely return !!!

We found this to be an excellent hotel. Our standard room was smart, modern, clean and very spacious. The only minor niggles we had would be the shower, which only has a glass panel, rather than a full enclosure, so it tended to leak onto the floor. Also, there are lots of led lights on fire exits and so on, so take an eye mask if lights bother you. Being in a residential area meant it was very quiet at nighttime and thanks to this and the comfortable bed and pillows, we slept well. The pool is lovely, very clean and with plenty of sunbeds, shady spots and large pool towels. There is not much of a view from anywhere in the hotel, but it's about a 25 minute walk to the coast and old town, so quite manageable. It was an easy walk to the bus station, which made it straightforward to get out and explore Montenegro by public transport. Staff were terrific - very helpful, professional and friendly and they made our stay very enjoyable. I hope Aycon recognise and rewards their staff at this hotel, because they really do make it the most enjoyable place to stay. Though the a la carte menu wasn't extensive, it was reasonably priced. We only tried pizza and salad one night, but it was good and convenient to eat at the hotel after arriving back very late. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel for those who don't want to walk as far as the beach or old town. The hotel does very good proper coffee too - even decaf! (though not at breakfast - that's from a machine and tasted like instant, though you can buy nice coffees should you wish to). We would be very happy to stay again.

Couldn’t fault this hotel, spotless, daily maid service. The staff are lovely and can not do enough onto help. The receptionist went over and above to help with trips and where to visit.

Arrived here today at the hotel Momentum in Budva. I have to say this hotel is simply stunning. Our room,in block B is so tastefully furnished. The shower is walk in and good pressure. Facilities are excellent,fridge,safe,and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. All the staff are very friendly, professional and extremely helpful. In the 7 hours since being here,the staff have booked a day excursion to Dubrovnik,a tour of Kotor,and a tour of the monastery. We had our evening meal at the hotel,and our meals were beautifully presented and very tasty and good value. When coming to stay in Budva,highly recommend you look at the hotel Momentum.
