Hotel Le Meridien Lav

My wife and I are semi-retired, and fortunate to travel the world 4 months a year. As a Marriott Titanium purely from our leisure travel, as always, I emailed and chatted with the hotel beforehand requesting that our Elegant Sea View Room have a nice sea view from a high floor. At first, I was confused when we were actually downgraded to a Premium Park View Room, but the hotel said this was automatically done by the app. We arrived Sunday night, off-season, and the hotel wasn’t crowded. On arrival, the hotel upgraded us to a Premium Sea View Room. Our room was in the new tower on the 12th of 13 floors. The view really was spectacular, of the sea, islands beyond, Split suburbs, and mountains beyond. The room was well-furnished, new, clean, comfortable. It looked smaller, the same as the photos of the Elegant Sea View Rooms, but the hotel said it was a Premium Room because of the view. The balcony was a bit noisy from the road, and other neighbors. I could also hear other neighbors on their balconies from inside our room. The whole resort is quite beautiful, with beautiful sea views everywhere. The staff were all nice. Breakfast was good, and a highlight of our time in Split was enjoying breakfast outdoors on the terrace with the beautiful views. The service at breakfast was always exceptional. The hotel gave 2 complimentary drinks, and free admission to the Mestrovic Gallery and Chapel, normally costing 12 euros, which we enjoyed. We had dinner at Conlemani, and the food and service were good. We paid 15 euros/day for parking. Each day, we drove 20 minutes to the Old Town, where parking was 4 euros/hour.

Was here for a mix of a work conference for my husband and some vacation time. Hotel was nice. Nice views of the marina. Bed was terribly hard and no office desk or chair in the room. Also, had a small toilet flushing issue, but they resolved it fairly quickly. It's a bit outside of the city center - so had to take several Ubers into town - about 20 minutes each way due to bad traffic. Would recommend if in the area.

We were on a program that rented out the entire hotel. I have worked hard to separate out the program staff from the hotel and hotel staff. To begin with, the hotel is what you would expect from a Mariott Bonvoy. 5 stars, always clean and new and the staff polite and on the ball. I used the spa for a facial and a blow out and it was wonderful. comparable to any good spa in the US. The staff was constantly cleaning and was super polite and helped when needed. They have 2 pools indoor and outdoor infinity pool which were lovely. They had inflatable bouncy houses for the kids and lots of lounge chairs by the pools. Our room had a peaceful view of the marina and the water and was quiet and beautiful. DEFINITELY consider this hotel while in Split!

My stay was very exceptional from check-in to check-out. Ivana checked me in and hit all the proper "notes" for a Bonvoy greeting and recognition. Our room was very nice with a view of the sea and Split across the bay. The location is great and away from the hustle & bustle of Split proper. The breakfast buffet was very nice and made for a good start to each day. There was no concierge on duty while there but the front desk attendents were most helpful with information & bookings. The indoor whirlpool and sauna were most appreciated by my partner as she had a bad cold and these helped her immensely. Overall it was a most enjoyable stay.

Bolt app with discount. 5 star best on the beach side outside Split. Has it all Great location walk 2 hours along Beach Or take bus no 60. Recommended Meuter
