V hotelu jsme se cítili velmi dobre. Ubytování moderní, vše čisté a obsluha velmi vstřícná a ochotna. Naše animatorka Mimi se o nás báječné starala a každý večer připravila pro děti dětské disco. Můžeme jen vřele doporučit.

Brac was an amazing island and the TUI team made it even better. All of the activities and entertainment were really fun with the rep team. Special shoutout to Nino the bartender!!

Alas, there are some critiques of the hotel but will raise those at the end. The main credit must go to the staff. All very polite and helpful apart from one lobby bar issue which I'll address later. The cleanliness is exemplary getting my wife and sister in laws approval. That's good if they're happy lol. Although some areas of the buildings could do with a lick of paint, our rooms were pleasant enough. Air-conditioned and good WIFI included which is a plus. The housekeeping is very good and rooms cleaned most days apart from day after arrival and Sundays so if you arrive on Friday, Monday will be the first clean. The grounds are swept regularly but there was an "ant" issue which again I'll come to later. Now to the restaurant. It's your standard self service with occasional themed nights and just one main dining area, although the resort sister hotel a short walk away, has a paid but discounted a la carte option which we can recommend. Restaurant OTOK and you'll find my review on here. The food at the resort is tasty and varied although lacking in baked beans, mushrooms and bacon at breakfast if you leave it too late! The pool snack bar offers pizza, chips, popcorn, rolls and absolutely delicious ice cream. The main pool can get busy but there are ample sunbeds throughout. There is nightly entertainment for kids and adults alike but be warned that should your room be located in the block by the stage, you may be the beneficiaries of some rather loud music until 10-10:30pm. The resort is situated by a beautiful little cove where the sea is crystal clear and on a calm day like a lake. PLEASE NOTE: strongly recommended bringing some kind of rubber protective footwear because the beach is not sand but stones, borderline small rocks and the same when going into the water but after 10-15 metres pure sand with fish at your feet. Beautiful, really is. So now we turn to some issues and appreciate opinions vary but here goes: The staff are exemplary but one evening a bar staff member seemed more concerned with washing the glasses rather than dealing with our order, eventually attending to someone else that went to the bar after us and we felt rather ignored. A little courtesy can go a long way. The drinks leave a lot to be desired. The soft drinks are local brands and vary in quality but the orange squash at breakfast is way too sweet. No freshly squeezed juice available. The red and white wine is on tap and needs improving. We bought our own duty free brandy and gin so can't comment on the spirits but on the plus side the beer was good. You can buy branded drinks at a fully inclusive discount which personally I don't agree with. Likewise there's a coffee machine in the lobby for out of hours service but it's €2 a cup, a fully inclusive package should include 24 hour free coffee service. I emailed and Facebooked the resort a month before arrival as it was our anniversary as well as my sister and brother in laws during our stay and wanted to arrange flowers for the ladies, the resort never replied and upon checking, because of a national holiday on Saturday florists were shut and flowers couldn't be arranged. Maybe the resort can't arrange that kind of thing but a reply would have been nice. In fairness they proposed the aforementioned restaurant OTOK. There is a lovely outdoor seating area with sofas but unfortunately crawling with ants the night we chose to sit there and the area needs to be fumigated regularly and staff were observed pouring drinks away by the seating areas, a magnet for ants I would say. Also the bins in the bathing areas could do with emptying more regularly. Finally as our departure was at 07:00, pre breakfast, the hotel offered a couple of packed lunches for the journey, in itself a nice gesture with water, fruit and a couple of rolls but unfortunately the filling left a lot to be desired. A slice or two of ham, no butter so very dry and ultimately a waste of a good roll. Maybe a little more thought next time. These are just our personal observations and once again, appreciate everyone's tastes vary and I suppose, the resort could argue if they're full year in year out so why change a thing which is fair enough. Would we come again? Brac Island definitely, this resort? Not sure.
