Bydleli jsme v rodinné vile s velkou terasou, krásné, čisté ubytování, prostorne pokoje, pohodlne, vysoke matrace, výborné jídlo, milý a Vstřícný personál. K mori kousek, lze si najit male soukrome pláže. Vše skvele, pobyt předčil naše očekávání. Určitě se sem vrátíme.

We have just come back from a lovely stay at the hotel. Our experience was mostly positive but we feel there is room for improvement. The villa we were assigned was very modern and clean; we did unfortunately have building works immediately outside which wasn’t the best view but a very short walk away there was a beautiful view of Stari Grad and the boats. There was a day when housekeeping didn’t come until past 4 o’clock which wasn’t really ideal when we’d come back at that time to freshen up for the evening! The evening entertainment was great for our children aged 3 and 5 and they absolutely loved it! My husband and I also had a wonderful massage. The food was generally good but a bit “samey” and for a resort that encourages healthy living, there were a lot of cakes for dessert! It was also luck of the draw as to whether we would get asked if we wanted a drink for breakfast or dinner which was a bit annoying when you’d see people arriving for food a long time after you getting asked straight away! We got the impression they were understaffed and trying to do too many things ie clean the tables as well as welcome restaurant guests. Regarding the kids club, our children loved going although there was one person working there who always looked moody and as if she really didn’t enjoy her job! We generally felt they were a bit understaffed as we were once called to pick up our children after less than an hour because they apparently asked to go to the toilet too much! As they’re little, we opted for them to have the red band which meant staying in only two rooms but the toilet was unfortunately in a different room so they had to ask to be taken even though they are both toilet trained and can take themselves to the toilet. A bit of a strange system! I’d also like to mention some issues around the pool. As mentioned in another post, there are no lifeguards. As such, we witnessed some rather intimidating older children repeatedly running up the children’s slides which is dangerous not only for them, but for any little children coming down the slide. I witnessed these children kick another young child in the stomach and when I approached them, they kicked me too! I really feel the presence of a lifeguard around the pool would minimise this sort of behaviour. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and would recommend the hotel, particularly for families with young children.

I couldn't decide between a 3 star or 4. It's a hard one because I think it depends what time of year you come, how old your kids are and what other resorts you have been to before. Firstly it is a gorgeous place, villas are fabulous, views amazing- it's all very picturesque. We are here now in the UK summer holidays and restaurant is very busy and feels too small, the food is nice. There are no life guards around the pools at all which I have never experienced before, my children are 4 & 5 years old so I always keep an eye on them anyway but it can get a bit chaotic with loads of kids going down the waterslides at once, or in the double rings there will be 3/4 kids going down at once. There is no rules about the slides or instructions and sometimes there is one lifeguard at the very top - my husband asked him if my 4 year old was big enough to go on them and he just shrugged his shoulders- it's sort of a free for all. Not a major issue but just something I've never witnessed before in a resort. Also the kids club rooms are all fabulous and well equipped/ clean, but you choose if you want your child to have a red band or green band- red means they have to stay in there till you collect them and this also means they can only go in two of the rooms not all of them. Green means they can come and go as they please and do what they want. My kids have a red band and we have only left them in the kids club for up to 45 mins without us, the staff don't seem to engage with them and when ever I go to pick them up there is one staff member in the corner of the room on her phone. I'm just a little bit let down by this as I thought the kids club was going to be brilliant and very engaging- however they do activities such as making bug hotels or volcanos so hopefully they will be more engaging.
